While TJ is the most well-known of my assistants, Joseph was the first!

Ha ha ha! Actually, I save money in winter. My car is parked on the road above my house. I am able to forget various things that I wanted to bring out of the car, and fetch them at various times by running up and down the steps to the car. This in turn warms me as I run, and my house as I re-enter.

Lets see some engineering data. By measuring the temperature profile of the engine you should be able to develop a model to determine the thermal energy stored in the motor/car. By estimating the thermal resistance of the walls and ceiling, a thermal flow model for the rest of the house could be developed. This model could be tested experimentally :-)
