@albanyjohn ok :) well, it's a VERY light plane, guess there's no much choice to keep the cg in between the limits. I think, not sure, but I think they even have to put a dead weight in an unoccupied seat.. Anyway I am very surpprised to see what that little thing can handle, damn good pilot as far as I can tell. My compliments to the chef :o)
@hexseeker When you are learning how to fly ,specially on your first solo, it's important that the new pilot and his or her instructor are both clear about what the plan is for the flight.
@therealmarcus You can buy a Dragonfly (or Two) from Liteflite (02)93164644 (If they don't answer, they are at a hang glider competition in Forbes until 12th January).
@iBizkitas Plenty of pilots are afraid of heights (standing on the edge of a cliff, looking over the side of a 200 ft balcony etc.) The experience of altitude in an aircraft is quite different for some reason.
Clunk 61-The thing about the fuel level is that it is doing nothing. If the stick and rudder pedals are not used at the right time or at the amount, the fuel will slosh all around the place.
If you can keep your eyes off Zhenya for five seconds, notice how the fuel in the tank stays relatively still in spite of the gyrations of the plane. Just goes to show the skill level of Bob's flying.
Brilliant video!!!!

Hummm not sure about the placement of the gas tank. Guess who is gonna take a bath in fuel if there is a mishap.

@albanyjohn Errr... You're not talking about the ballistic rescue parachute cannister are you ?
airbeamer 1 month ago
@airbeamer Ah no, I'm talking about that big plastic container directly behind the pilot with liquid sloshing around in it and a hose to the engine.
