Thanks for the review, but a couple tips, study what you're talking about first; you said "16gb of memory", it's not. It's 16gb of storage, 512mb of memory. You keep saying 7 inch is too small for honeycomb. no. The screen size has nothing to do with what os it can run. One last thing. Please refrain from saying "ummm" before every sentence. mkay. thank you.
@skateractics Uhm, storage is memory. Whether its RAM or internal or external storage, it's all still technically memory. And your statement of 512mb of memory means nothing because the term "memory" is so vague that it would be applied to any sort of data storage. The proper term would be 512mb of RAM. I said 7" was too small for Honeycomb because that's what everyone was saying at the time. Take note, the review was from 4 months ago.
@TheIpadFanatic4Life I'd say that it isn't as loud as the iPad2. It is stereo sound though. You don't really notice it until you cover up one side and then you realize that it sounds way better with both speakers. I'd have to say that the speakers sound good, just not loud.
@TheIpadFanatic4Life The speakers are as good as can be expected. They are better than a cell phone but not as good as an iPad. They work well in a quiet room but in room with say a TV or conversation going on, you would want to use an external speaker. I would suggest a Bluetooth speak such as the Jawbone Jambox.
Great review...i must decide whether to buy this one, the galaxy 7 or the viewsonic viewpad. Price is the final determination although i am leaning towards the tegra 2 processor for future honeycomb installation.
i like the tab because i like the samsung galaxy phone and the dell and the touchpad are cheap but the Eee pad is expensive and i would like a small one cause i travel alot and the 7" sounds good but i like the 10" screen for films
basically what i want is a tablet that can play hd videos have flash and apps with a good browser good sound and a capacitive touchscreen and maybe a camera
@callum1231234 It would totally depend on cost and what's important to you. Dell streak is great with the exception of the screen resolution. The Touchpad is and will always be a good email and web surfing device if you can find one for $99 even if it doesn't get updated ever again. The EEE pad is a good, solid Honeycomb tablet but will cost the most. The Galaxy Tab 7" is old and outdated but decent if you can find one for cheap. I'd wait for the new ones though.
You can email me or comment on my blog if you want more information. It's kinda hard to give you a good choice without knowing what you are and are not willing to live with and how much you are willing to spend. If money is no object, the Eee pad is the best choice out of the four you mentioned. If you're willing to compromise on specs and performance, you could easily use any of the other three without issue because they can be had for really cheap.
Hey man, despite all the negative comments I thought that it was a good review, got the info I needed and it was easy to listen to, cheers bro

So not as loud as my iPad 2?? I was just thinking that the way you can hold it, seeing as it has speakers on both sides, it might sound better
