those guys did amazingly to get under the bridge! They are true heroes in my humble opinion. and getting under that tree! the guy on the red board is a legend! bit of a poo stance though...
I think bore-riding is all about mastery of three techniques; the legendary poo stance, the squat-paddle, along with the shuffle-step are the cornerstones of successful bore-riding. Oh yeah, and don't forget to duck...
You don't do yourself justice Mr GL...another great couple of vids to immortalise the action, ILS's daughter took some triffic photos, watch the forum and am hopeful we will see some posted there
I missed it and wondered how it went, but didn't have to look any further than Grommitlauncher - You've saved me some deisel! Great video, great music.
I did feel sorry for that bloke... He might have made it to the weir..It was like one of those John Wayne films when the birds flew away...You know, when the Indians give themselves away...Were you on that bit of film? I am kicking myself for not zooming-in on the long shots up river.. The decision I made not to do that was so that viewers could see just how far you can actually surf if you catch it right.I was a prat really because it turned out as a lot of river and not much action... Dave

Well done Dave, I particularly like the bit where the ducks fly out of the tree after the guy on the red board eats willow!!
