On this plane thrust would be calculated with the FMC (however, this simulation FMC does not use all the factors that a real FMC would and thus is not precise). Otherwise charts would be needed.
hey i have the download version of the pss 777 but the problem is that the flight plan does not have a smooth curve like the pmdg 747 pfd. is it really like that irl? it give really straight turns on the pfd.
It's just a small flaw in the PSS 777. I notice sometimes it draws it curved, sometimes at sharp angles. But the actual turns are usually initiated early enough to remain on track.
Sounds like you're doing a cold and dark start up (everything is off). There are tutorials you can find to help you. You'll need electrical power (either from APU, ground supply, or the engines) to be able to turn on the displays and systems. Be sure the electrical panel is set correctly and that you do have a source of power.
When I fly the WMKK - WSSS route, I also use the DUMOK A SID off 32R for a nice view of the KL skyline (on a clear day). The best part is the Trent 800 spoolup! I used your Trent 800 sound files on my SQ A330-300 9V-STA and it WORKS!, although the A333 uses Trent 700s :)
HAHA...Good job with the footage. Was a little bit of oscillation there after takeoff, but that was probably due to the frame rates getting a bit laggy on you? But overall, well done. Usually, I do a Dumok A SID for RWY 32R, which gives me a nice view in the distance of the two tall towers in KUL. :)
how to calculate takeoff power and climb power but not use fmc

@RixceU thnx now i understand.

You started both engines at the same time?
ncodrington 1 year ago
@ncodrington
Yes. The 777's APU is powerful enough to start both engines, except for the GE90-115b on the 200LR and 300ER which must be done one at a time.

LOL, usually I just pick the SID that joins the airways my route takes me.
RixceU 1 year ago
That's definitely true! The last thing you want is to select a SID that goes off your flight route :P

awesome!!!!! the spoolup is fierce!!!

I've tweaked Ismail's sound pack to correct the sound vs. thrust setting! What do you think?

Yeah a bit laggy. Also did this video for the Trent sounds ;)

@RixceU Yeh.. The sounds are marvelous. Wish I could have everything you've got for the 777 :P
