join the adults beginner if there's one, juz to get started, then find a youth class later when you have your basics down :) At least that's what I did....

I would recommend checking out colleges. Most colleges have ballroom team, and social classes. That is where I first got started as well.

As a champion ballroom at latin dancer - ranked 7th in England i'd just like to say that the choreography could have been a lot better. Me and my partner had to put together a paso in 2 hours and it game out looking more polished than that. And I have to say the first two kids were definartly the bes for their age. The second couple were average. Same for the elder couple, would have expected much better from them tbh.

Many are Russian, Polish, etc. because ballroom/latin dance is really big there. Many children start at a young age and train so they can compete in world competitions.

I wish I started dance class that young! xD These guys and girls are great!.
