@renzo1320 PS I got mine at a kiosk, and the weights appear to be made of aluminum. As others have pointed out, these aren't available anywhere online, so I'm gonna visit a bead store and see if they have anything I can use.
@renzo1320 I was told that the cord should just a little longer than the width of your palm, so that the weights will just barely hang on each side. But it's really a matter of personal preferance, and what feels comfortable. The goal is to make the weights hit each other as much as possible, so you hear a nice "tak, tak, tak" sound as you play.

As soon as I get my camcorder fixed I will share a few of my tricks. I used to work at this greek restuarant here in SC and when I graduated from high school my manager gave me a set of begleri. I have been hooked since the day I got them.
@idesigncoolstuf it's pretty easy to make one yourself. There's a lot of stores that sell beads and string, try one that has sewing stuff and all that. I mad mine for about 2 dollar. Some sturdy metal weights might be better than beads though, since they fit easier between your fingers. Just make sure the string is soft so it doesn't cut your fingers.

Thanks for the video, dude! It's probably the most useful begleri tutorial on the net.
I learned all the tricks and am now trying to find out nice transitions between them.
You should probably add sound if you can. It's just not the same without the clattering. ^_^

Where did you get your Begleri? I have been searching high and low for a simple 2 bead Begleri that has a nice sturdy cord.

like I wrote in description, a friend was in greece and bought them there (on some kind of street-market)
just check out some thicker nylon-strings (like mountain-climbers use) and add some wheight to the ends!
