I totally agree with you. In his interview before he passed away in 1988, he said that the day that Mukesh died, not only did he lose a good friend but he also lost his voice. Incidently, when Raj Kapoor was taken ill in 1988, he was not able to talk and had to have a machine to try and help him to breathe and talk.
