Omg I can not AGREE with you anymore My Teelee!! I turned it off after I realized they didn't grasp nor understand their abused at their father's hand. Honestly which was completely bizarre to me. The girls are not experts. They are victims. They learn a lot throughout the film. If you turned it off in the first fifteen minutes, you're the one who didn't grow, not them. The father is out of the picture. He has plenty of blame on him. There's more than just that fleeting comment about the penis the Celesta makes at the beginning. She's just starting to learn about what's going. Anybody who gets all morally indignant and blames her is sick and is responsible for more and more silence. Shame

I had the same thing happen as a child and never told anyone. I did not fall prey to the "vicious cycle" as far as being an abuser but, did lead a reckless, drug abusing, low self asteem, can't keep a relationship life.
