hi, did you know that guru naank was himself "Hindu"?? did you know that he created army to protect people i.e. hindus from muslims at that time? as they were forcing hindus to convert.guru nanak himself hindu created army,gave 5 symbols and gave name to the people who joins that force,very simply thats how it came into existance.so, they were all hindus centuries.there was no sikhism per say...and frankly,ask your friends how is caste system going in sikhs?.jats have big head i hear
