As a Palauan living on Guam, I have never met such hospitable people in my life [besides my home Palau :) ] and all this nonsense about Guam stealing Palauan storyboards are NOT true, I have not seen one storyboard here on Guam in the same style as Palau's and no one tries to pass it off as one, Palau and Guam both have very unique carving styles just as any other beautiful island in the Pacific has its unique culture! :) ONE LOVE PEOPLE.

On Guam, everything is expensive and you get paid less than US jobs do. People here are greedy and too prideful. The Chamorro culture ripped off the other cultures(eg Palauan storyboards, Hawaiian clothing, spanish language, etc)

Based on what I heard, however, the Japanese committed various atrocities American troops never did, which is why the Chamorro people were relieved when the US retook possession of the island.

I'm with you there with the corrupt government, poor hospital system, and the tax. These things anger me! Other than that it is a beautiful vacation spot, great getaway location. It was when I was a kid alfathomas30. ( my whole family was there when my father was stationed on Guam with the U.S. Air Force. I was 5 at the time, now 48 ). From what I understand, alot of the beauty that the island once had is quickly disappearing because of development of the land. Bear in mind the island is only 212 sq. miles big. It was when I was a kid alfathomas30. ( my whole family was there when my father was stationed on Guam with the U.S. Air Force. I was 5 at the time, now 48 ). From what I understand, alot of the beauty that the island once had is quickly disappearing because of development of the land. Bear in mind the island is only 212 sq. miles big. So yeah, there it is.

@every1 else: Ya'll who have anything bad to say about Guam should just keep ur mouth shut cuz ur probably those who have never really seen the true beauty of the island. The people here are very nice especially down south. Pride is a huge thing here, but everyone's very friendly and the sceneries are very breath taking. I have lived here for about 12 years now and I love it!

The sad thing about it is the guam people lost their rights in early 90's cause of coruption. Magellan said they were the island of thiefs. Its true the chamorro people are liars, not educated, and stealers. I am currently living on guam and i live at apusento gardens in chalan pago. if you have beef with me cuz im philipino and i make sense bring it on. and i will knock every dumb chamorro down!

Are you dumb? The islands economy is supported by Japanese tourists and Filipino workers in hospitals and offices. Dont be closed-minded about things like that. Thats why Guams economy is suffering, and everyone is broke as a joke, people are worrying about the wrong shit. Youre probably a nobody that just hangs out doing nothing, doesnt have a good job, no college education. No money to treat your girlfriend to a nice restaurant... youre sad.
