Great match...and aside from the Anthony/Roth 1980 Long Island Open match, this is probably the most emotional (of sorts) N Burton Jr. ever was on a PBA telecast (at least at 4:52 )...

hi, thanks for putting up some classic 1980s bowling vids. Do you have any videos or know of anyone with videos of an English PBA pro bowler who toured the states during the 80s by the name of Ron Morgan? As far as i know he didnt win any of the competitions and i,m not sure of his finishing places in them. Any help will be appreciated

In all these matches that i've posted from this era, ever notice that the bowlers, at the end of the match, are not lovey dovey huggy like today?

Nope. I'd love to see the Holman-Skidmore match where they were practically at each other's throats what with all the psyching. INTENSE!
