BRMC is one of my top 5 favourite bands, their rock is so powerful and pure! If rock grew up in the trees, this is how it would sound. The only thing I would add to the band is a second guitar, 'cause they sound more powerful in the record than live, i think because the lack of a second guitar. Anyway just my opinion...

Listening carefully, it seems to me that the studio version has at least 2 vocal tracks and 3 guitars through most of it. It'd be really difficult to replicate that special sound without adding more to the band. After being in BJM, I can see why Peter would hesitate to have a bigger band, in spite of his taste for polyphony.
