  • Fuck my generation and the 2000s.

  • RARE FENCH EP on LONDON records .

    great !

  • People who did not live in the time have absolutely no idea haow music was performed and acted out back then. I went, or was lucky to have been chosen to go to "Bandstand" in Philly in the middle 6/'s and all we heard was great music, and nice artists. Kids today have no idea how much fun it was.

  • Nice video.. Thanks for sharing.. I wonder why they didn't have microphones.. Was that a "Music Video"? Because everyone else at that time at least tried to make it look real.. =P

  • This must have been a lip-sync, yes? No microphones, much less any other effort to fake it.

  • Sooooo square! And I guess it didn't take much training to be a backup dancer back then. :)

Love love love the song though.

  • Not sure how HD this is..

  • @HotBroodish Read my quality scale.

  • "There's a long-haired girl who waits I know ....."

We were born in the early 50's, just in time to have this music at our dances (they were dances back then, not concerts).

I married that long-haired girl ... we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary not too long back.

  • i so wanted to be one of those go go dancers lol i did have those wonderful white boots YEAHHHHHH

  • mmmm Lip snyc much?

  • Look at the Croud, the Dancers, Everyone having fun. Now you have to go to a club and most times it is a DJ. TODAY is Nothing like the 60's

  • Holy smokes. That was some serious go-go dancing! I'm gonna hit the club this weekend with a turtle neck and a finger snap. Those guys are awesome.

  • yes i enjoy this version from when i saw it in 09

  • Hello, All. How well I remember. GoGo dancers in "low-cuts" (boots) dancing with wild abandon. They were such great times with the BEST MUSIC ever made. Peace to ALL.

  • Excellent song. I loved this when it was first released and it still stands up today. A song for any era....

  • Great entertainment!!!

  • Wow, what can I say but, Amazing. Where the hell did you find a rare gem like that?

  • great harmonies,great dancers,da 60s!!!!!!! what else can u wish?

  • I have seen another live performance of this on you tube but this is by far the best! Are the back up musicians part of the Vogues or just a studio type group?

  • @nymanjohn I think it's a group called The Deep Six, who performed on the same show.

  • @nymanjohn -- It's not a live performance, they're lipsynching, but it is fun to watch.

  • A great song!!

I know this best as the Drew Carey Show Theme

  • i love those dancers.

  • What in the world is the guy on the far left playing. lt looks like it's got a really long neck that curves upward.

  • @imthedorf1964 it looks like a mandolin to me.

  • Wow! This vid's got it all. The golden harmonies of The Vogues backdropped by the sensuous swaying of the era's quintessential "Go-Go" girls. 1963 thru '66!!!!!!!. Them were the years, baby!~ Pure 60's nirvana!

  • Hello, is this Hullabaloo?

  • @SeattleLA No this show looks like the set of Shivaree.

  • @rocksinger45 Thank you, I had never heard of it, but I see now that it was Shivaree, after I double checked.

  • Thanks for posting. Good to see it "live".

  • Great song, and evocative of the era.
