"At times it seems like the pressure and the weight has been, I'm sure unbearable for him, but it's never the load that breaks you down it's the way you carry it and he has carried this franchise well from day one on." Man the NHL is gonna miss you next year Mike.
Mo is and will always be my favorite player, N°1 for me.
He's the one who made me love hockey, i so hope he'll keep playing in the NHL because he's the soul of the Stars. But he does retire, i wish him the best in whatever he makes. This guy is just amazing.
How spoiled we have been, getting to see this guy for as long as we got to see him play in a Stars sweater, and how lucky were we to have 3 guys represent the game of hockey like Yzerman, Sakic, and Modano in the 90's and early 2000's...
@MFFL2008 No doubt. All 3 similiar players, similiar careers, all with the same franchises. Hopefully Mo keeps it that way. Rather see him call er a career than go play for someone else. But definitely hoping he comes back to the Stars for one more. Watched him get drafted when I was a kid. I was already a Stars fan. But getting to watch him his entire career has made it that much more special.
Thanks for posting this video, I've been watching Mo since I was 5, greatest Star ever. Im gonna DL it and save it as a keep sake. I agree that he shouldn't play again. Just wouldn't be right. I want the last memory of his NHL career being just what it was the last two games, the Number 1 Star. What should he do now? Become the Dallas Stars Special Teams coach, our powerplay needs help. And with Riberio, Richards, Morrow, Ericksson, Neal, why can't it be better?
@asiannerdz4 I know that but he was crying during his last game. It wouldn't be right for him to come back and sign anywhere else. On opening night this fall, it needs to be him at centre ice with #9 being raised to the rafters.
@asiannerdz4 is he going to come back do you think cause id love to see this guy for one more year and win a stanley cup again he deserves it hes great
@raquel1234ful Its really 50/50 at this point. It's kind of up to wether or not he becomes part owner of the team, in which case he hangs em up. Or if they find another owner willing to spend and they make some aquisitions to make the team a contender. Then he likely comes back. The very latest is that the ownership is down to a guy from Calgary and a guy from Vancouver. Both very rich. Either would mean good things for the Stars and good things for us Modano fans wanting him back for 1 more.
....got something in my eye here....
thank you Mike.

@aqnguyen87 I've heard that he's going to be part owner of the Stars. So he'll be involved in some way.
