  • howdy bodine. nice movie!

  • I've never liked the look of lizzards. Nevertheless, they need love too.

  • Hi Rhonda. Sure wish you and Dave had more time to be on here. It's gotten real quiet, especially from Mr. Haffner. Just got home from seeing my Dad. Glad to find your Comment waiting here! I think lizards look cool. 8-)

  • Hi Scott! Hope your dad is doing OK. We'll have to get in touch and do some catching up.

    Talk to you soon. :)

  • Looks if ah'm becomin' a fan Mr Bushrock-Bodene :) Well anyways, I wus a'wonderin' if this be anythang ter do with the 'conspiracy theoreeee' that every sum'b is goin' on about. This here idea, that all rich and famous folk are really lizards from outerspace? Theys s'posed to be the ones causin' aaaall the trouble in the world. Load of hogwash yes? Ahhh beeeeleeve so. Anyways ahhhm gonna become a fan of your channel Mr Diesel Bushrock-Bodine. Thanks feller. Damn fine channel.

  • Hello HestonWarrior. Welcome to my Channel. You may be right. I'l have to do a little more research in my 1929 Encyclopedia Britannica. I hope to find the answers there!

  • Now ah got aaall this from a guy named David Eyke. His mumbo-jumbo is on the Google trail and Y/tube, if you wants to check him out. But Hens' teeth, don't you go a blamin' me if it happens t'be true!! Damn fine channel Diesel. You be safe now.

  • This just in: "Iguanas responsible for financial meltdown" It seems that many couples were suffering from "Iguana Fear" and had to find a place to hide, even if that meant exaggerating their income as encouraged by kindly leanders. Being afraid to go outside many stayed at home and came into default on mortgages which led to the present crisis. And all because of Iguanas! Is Sarah Palin really as brave when hunting Iguanas instead of Moose and Russians? You can't see an Iguana from her house!

  • The desert light has just illuminated the real threat of that most dangerous and hideous of monsters! You are too funny Mr. Laurence. May the ''Wooly Mammoth Iguana of Life'' make a nest in your ''5 & dime'' toupee! LOL & 8-)

  • Humans are a threat to nature, not iguanas. How absurd. I know it's not on the same scale, but I 'inherited' a depressed Leopard Gekko. Poor little thing had been ignored all his life, other than being fed. He was the most characterful, sweetest creature once he was taken out and allowed to have a bit of life. I loved him. :)

  • Hi Cathy. Why human nature must remain a threat to nature, the environment, world peace and our mutual future is one of the most pressing things on my conscience.

I had a Tokay Gekko once. Found it inside a box that had other things I bought from a pet store. It was 2 inches long and as nasty and fearless as could be. It grew to about 6 inches and retained that nasty, fearless temperament until it finally expired, of old age.

  • I don't understand why humanity is as it is. It claims to be intelligent and then behaves incredibly badly, without even seeming to realise it half the time.

  • True Cathy. Humanity has the ability and intelligence to do the greatest good for the world, it's lifeforms and itself, but humanity behaves as a cult of death, whether it is inflicted by individuals or groups personally, or the killing is done in the name of humanity by others and the deaths are viewed as beneficial as in unnecessary food supply, convenience, or as the outcome of mortal conflict. In addition to killing, could be considered other forms of destruction as our legacy.

  • Hi Brother Scott,I just switched on the Dutch Animal channel, where animals can talk about their thoughts, and man I saw all these Iguanas and different animals complaining like hell about all these human beings completely destroying their "Natural Habitat",it was great to hear the the other side of the story, Greets Amigo.

  • Hi Bro Vic. If animals could talk in a humanly understandable language... what stories they could share with us! 8-)

  • Fantastic blog Scott! With your videos, I am always learning something new. :)

  • Hello Karen. Welcome to ''Bodine's Iguana Land!''

A place where Humans and the Mean Green Machines can learn to love each other. LOL & 8-)

  • Great talk, Its all in the views in the news and what the mind tries to make sense of it.

    Iguana Love.

For the trip is worth the journey.

  • Hello czarwright. It's a shame that people find the time to stick their unnecessary two bits into the lives of harmless animals, when there are so much human related horrors to address. Long live the Iguana!

  • I worry more about rich, fat elephants taking over this November :p

  • Don't worry David... whether it's rich, fat elephants or dimwitted, braying donkeys, we're sure to be in for more of the same... high fuel, health care and food prices, more asinine laws, and the never ending finger pointing of who's to blame. I joyfully have more respect for pea-brained Iguanas than posturing, lying, power-hungry politicians.

  • Amazing creatures. I guess you caused sensation when you walked out your Iguana. Did it recognize you, somehow like a dog would do?

  • Hallo Frank. It was a pleasant experience to have lots of people want to see my Iguana up close and to ask lots of questions about it. Lots of people wanted to pet it. I'd say, ''Go ahead, it won't bite you.'' I'd have a hard time guessing what was going on in the mind of my Iguana, seeing how small it's brain was... but I think it knew me since I had it for years.

  • Its a great experience that people get very open and interested as soon as one walks out a pet, even if it is less special. I never had a pet well suited for walking, just a rabbit and gold fish. But I really enjoy this situation when I take a walk with friends and their dogs. Same people who would just pass by if they'd meet you alone take the opportunity to start a chat on pets.

  • Hallo Frank. It's like being a musician in a bar. That pet is like having a guitar. The pet or guitar create interest that people click on.

  • Nice comparison, true that.
