  • Please do not have any surgeries on your spine unless the doctor agrees to sign a contract stateing that there is no chance the surgery could make things worse. Spinal fusions are horrably painfull to recover from and I have spoken to many people who were much worse off after spine surgeries. My dr. Put a screw in crooked and it broke the vertabre leaveing me with severe nerve damage.

    What exactly was done here, though, please? Was the degenerative disc shaved or replaced? Or something else?
