  • LOL! TOO FUNNY!

  • "Actually it wasn't a snow plow, it was a John Deer 314" lol

  • lmao i love watching these videos they make me laugh :)

  • the snow plow, the tuck rule, the spygate . dont the patriots ever play fair!

  • Comment removed

  • Patriots fans throwing snow

  • patriots always be cheatin

  • unfair in the pros and smu wow

  • The Patriots have always been cheaters. Massholes suck!

  • @MarcusCMarcellus What the fuck is the difference between removing it with your feet or a plow. Butt hurt much. Every other part of the country sucks, fags to the west adn the rest are hicks.

  • @DXSUCKIT1990 or stuck up NY douchebags.

  • This was whne the Pats suck and the Dolphins ruled. How things have changed...........

  • 3:09 so it should be called the john deer three forteen game then. try saying that 5 times fast

  • Joe Robbie and Don Shula -- Halloween's best!

  • Kinda figures that it is Ron Meyer doing something like that, since the guy also orchastrated the start of what would become the SMU Death Penalty...just saying

  • I Love It

  • i hate the pats but i dont see how it was unfair, and plus why didnt the dolphins do the same thing when they were in field goal range?

  • LOL. You can see some Patriots in the huddle get excited at the plow coming out. What happened to Mark Henderson after this? Hope he never got into legal trouble again.

  • @cochranexyz If he ever did (or does), I hope he was pardoned thereafter.

  • I was at this Game...Man IT WAS COLD!!! Back in the days when Football was for real...

  • @PiShoN79 it is still for real

  • @PJ2195 ......NO! ITS NOT!!! Back then, you were able to hit the QB, Plus there was no stupid rule that prevented a DB from hitting a poor defense-less receiver. Next time they rerun a classic '70s Raiders or Steelers game on NFL Network, sit down and watch how Football was meant to be played.

  • This is the "Snow Plow" game, the "Snow Bowl" was in 1985, TB @ GB.

  • those are the sweetest uniforms ever, second only to the chargers powder blues. the patriots late 70's version, when the stripes were down on the sleeves. the 85 super bowl version didn't look quite as good because they moved the stripes up onto around the shoulders.

btw, this snowplow now resides in the patriots hall of fame, suspended from the ceiling with wires. lol.

  • i love the pats but this was just a little unfair

  • @xXpatsfan87Xx there was no rule at the time so its not unfair now it would be since snowplows arent allowed

  • That is bullshit. Because it's your own field you are allowed to plow your own field at the end of the game just to kick a field goal. Pretty sure the other team should have gotten to do that when they wanted to kick a field goal.

  • @dhstandard22 No shit sherlock... That's why the game is still remembered to this day.

  • Rofl @ 2:35-2:45

  • Interesting that 2 of the top 7 weather games were in... not Green Bay or Minneapolis... but...

    Foxboro, Massachusetts...

Where was the snow plow in the Tuck Rule game? Well, I guess we shouldn't ask for TOO much... lol

  • @alanrdowney Well, it's not counting down the worst weather played in of all-time. It's counting down the best games ever played in bad weather.

  • Haha that is kin a funny go pats

  • another reason pats are cheaters, snow plow

  • @MrTatsubei

There was no rule against using a snow plow in a game prior to 1982. To cheat in a game, you have to break a rule in the nfl rulebook. There was no rule against using a snowplow to clear a path for a kicker. After this incident, they banned the use of a snowplow. But since no rule was broken, you can't call the Patriots cheaters for this incident.

  • @patsrule213 well, one time is too many anyways

  • LOL this is hilarious

  • maybe it wasnt fair, but there were no rules against it at the time. plus its always good when my patriots beat miami.

    go pats

  • Cheaters but they might have won the game anyway so really doesnt matter. Anyone know if this game had any playoff implications?

  • @utheman01 It's not cheating. That's when the game was scheduled to be played. The patriots adapted well to the weather conditions. If you can't adapt you get dominated. Personally I don't think they should ever delay or cancel a game. If the weather works against you it's just bad luck. The patriots proved they were the better team. Even an assload of snow wasn't enough to stop them. If you have to have a certain type of weather condition to win then you aren't that good.

  • @Luigi84289 if it wasnt for that lowblow field goal, it would've been 0-0 forever.

  • @Tazman91291

It wasn't a low blow field goal, at the time, the nfl rulebook allowed you to have a snowplow on the sidelines. After this game, they banned the use of snowplows on the sidelines. And Pete Rozelle could have changed the score, but he told Don Shula that they didn't break a rule, so he couldn't change the score even if he wanted to. You have to break a rule to cheat and since the Patriots didn't break a rule, it's not cheating.

  • this is where the Patriots began to cheat

  • So like Shula - lose a game so he goes running to his boy, Rozelle. I wonder if Don "Mr. Rules Comittee" Shula ever took - or TRIED to take - any "unfair advantages" of any opponents in his career?

He's just pissed HE didn't think of it first!

  • @flitandersen

5 or 6 weeks later, Don Shula didn't turn on his water pumps and he made his homefield a mess and he won because the field was a mess. If the snowplow game was cheating, which it wasn't, then what Shula did was cheating, which it wasn't.

  • @patsrule213 Shula had nothing to do with the field being without a tarp. I'm from Miami and storms rise out of the Atlantic undetected and can drench a field and that's what happened. Plus, the Hurricanes had played a game a couple of days before so they had to resod the field. The reason why the Jets lost was because Richard Todd picked that game to have one of his worst games as a pro.

  • and because you can.

  • Why are the Pats ALWAYS cheating?

  • @ajrothBU09 that wasnt the snow bowl either, the tuck rule game is sometimes refered to as the snow bowl

  • I love new england (L). From Mèxico.

  • Joe Robbie reminds me of that tall elf from the Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer movie.

  • HAPPY 28TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE "SNOW PLOW GAME"!!!!! Mark Henderson is my hero.

  • Don Shula is such an Ass. Name of this clip is wrong, it's the Snow Plow Game not the Snow Bowl. The Snow Bowl was the patriots superbowl win over the Rams "greatest show on turf"

  • @ajrothBU09 I wish I was old enough to watch this game live

  • @Fanik8 I did see it live, and the funny part is these two teams met in Miami in the first round of the playoffs that year where the Dolphins won 28-13. Before the game the Dolphins made fake snow one of the end zones, and they hired a guy who looked like Mark Henderson (the guy who drove the snow plow) to shovel the snow. Shula was mad!

  • @vccstudents the '82 game still haunts Shula, despite his great career.

  • @ajrothBU09 , pats and raiders dipshit

  • Boo Hoo Cry me a river Miami

  • @ashland1977 LOL, the've been crying for years.

  • haha...poor Shula...lol

    pffft...deere 414..lol

  • I love bad weather games, I mean, why would you NOT want to play in the snow?

  • And the use of snow plow was the only score of that game, Patriots won that game 3-0.

  • I love this game.

  • I remember screaming at the tv when they plowed the field! Pats won the game, but the Dolphins had the last laugh that season, beating the Pats in the playoffs 28-13.

  • @jacemrva

That's what happened, yet all we here about is how that snowplow was illegal, and that we cheated, which we didn't. We did lose to the Dolphins in the playoffs that year. Would I rather have the playoff victory? Of course. But this was hilarious to watch. And they changed the rule after this year so that you couldn't have a snowbrush on the sidelines.

  • crooked ass game

  • The worst day ever for 'Phin' Phans like myself. Why didn't we get that snow plower convict to brush for us in reply?? So, yet another time that the 'cheating' patriots won breaking the rules!!! ughhhh!!!

  • @pedaltonz Really? The Dolphins could've done the same thing but we're too stupid to think of it. And there we're no rules against the snowplow in this game, so it wasn't cheating.

  • I hate the Patriots, but th best part of this story:

The Snow Plow Man, Mark Henderson, turned his life around and has been walking the line ever since...

Way to go, bro, for a far more IMPORTANT turnaround...

  • @obiwanobiwan13 Great to hear that he's stayed out of legal problems.

Humorous in that this incident made Henderson the most famous person that was granted work-release in Massachusetts (at least, until the Willie Horton incident that helped sink Michael Dukakis' 1988 Presidential run)

  • @generationll You're old lololol

  • total fucking bullshit !!! fuck the patsy's fins for life baby

  • @vidiot09

How was this bull****? At the time rules stated that a team can have someone who drives a snowplow on their sidelines. So, there was nothing illegal about the play. They changed the rule after this incident the next year. So were they cheated? The rulebook at the time would say that they weren't cheated, so I believe they weren't cheated.

  • @patsrule213 You said it Pat "At the time rules stated that a team can have someone who drives a snowplow on their sidelines" i dont recall them kicking a field goal from the fucking sidelines ??" de nial is me is more than just a river in egypt apparently lol oh well 16-0 beats 18-1 anyday ...

  • @vidiot09

If you think that the Patriots cheated, how about when the Dolphins did not shut off the irrigation pumps, so that the field would be sloppy and muddy. The Jets could not do a thing about it because the Dolphins intentionally made the field a mess. And this was in the playoffs in the AFC Championchip game. So if we cheated, then you guys cheated.

  • @patsrule213 Of course. The Jets were forced to play in a rice paddy while the Dolphins played on perfectly groomed and dry turf that day.

  • ahah thats some funny shit

  • The Pats are a disgrace! They are an organization that loves to cheat! Fuck the Pats! Cheating gets you no where! 18*-1 bitch! GO FINS!!!

  • this game was kinda unfair how come they used the snow plow and they didnt like 2007 pats the game was cheated

  • I WAS AT THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Once again....home field advantage.

  • irony of the game...Patriots holder was back-up QB Matt Cavanaugh. Cavanaugh was the back-up to Joe Montana on the 49ers team that beat the Marino lead Dolphins.....oh, by the way, Marino and Cavanaugh were both quarterbacks for the unniversity of Pittsburgh.

  • This is actually a funny video because this snow brush which usually dosen't do as good a job as a snowplow, was able to clear that batch of snow. And there's nothing wrong or illegal about that play. There really shouldn't have been a controversy about this play.

  • So the videotaping the Jets defense is actually the second bull shit thing the Patriots got away with.

  • In the ifs-and-buts-and-candy-and-nuts-we'd-all-have-a-Merry-Christmas category: if this game happens a year later, Miami kills New England. Despite what people usually think, passing games can do better in snow than normal conditions because QB's know where the ball's going, and so do receivers - but not the DB's. Slip, slide, and wideouts get wide open. Marino would have owned them.

  • Actually I think it's kind of funny though I'm not a Dolphins' fan, (or a Patriots' fan for that matter). The NFL messed up by not doing something during the game.

  • You don't just give a team a chance to kick a field goal, you have to work for your yards to get in range for the kick. Do you watch football?

  • That's what I meant. It would be unfair for the other team if when this team had snow removed from the field goal line and the other team didn't. That's why I asked if the other team even attempted a field goal in the game. And yes I do watch football, not really a hardcore fan, but i watch enough to know the rules.

  • @qballcc7 well dude in ncaa football you get two chances to do it but teams get a chance so ur actually wrong

  • @james12532

Yes, but that's the rules for overtime, this was in the 4th quarter. And Miami still had a chance to drive down for a touchdown to win the game. And this is the NFL, not college football. Yes, the new rule that was just created several months ago will give both teams an opportunity to get the ball if they kick a field goal in overtime, and they won the coin toss.

  • @matrixuploaded I have to agree with qballcc7. Have you ever seen a football game? It was a spontaneous act and it wasn't against the rules. Any coach would have done it if they had the chance. And how is it unfair? They had home field advantage and what do you mean by "Did the other team get a chance to kick a field goal"? You don't just get a chance, you have to earn it.

  • @VCavman24 the dolphins had a chance to win with a field goal before this but for some strange reason the field did not get cleared for them ?? only moments later by a fellow criminal on a snow plow lol "BULLSHIT" PLAY ALWAYS WILL BE

  • @matrixuploaded Yeah it's unfair, because you have to earn it. Hell, life is unfair. You're on welfare aren't you?

  • @matrixuploaded LOLOL

  • @matrixuploaded It's called sudden death for a reason, wimp. You must be one of those feminized libtards who want everything to be fair so nobody's wittle feewings get hurt.

  • Because it's historic and it's football.

  • @doonsoldier What are you talking about? Why wouldn't you play it?

  • @doonsoldier because its there.

  • @doonsoldier Football is best when played in a foot of snow.

  • @doonsoldier Because it's fun. They used to not cancel games over every little thing. Football never knew bad weather cancellation until recently. A lot of times one or both of the teams could use the weather to their advantage. Take the Ice Bowl. It was so cold that it gave Dallas a chance to take down the Near Invincible Cold Weather Dominating Lombardi Packers. The Packers still won but it was entirely luck. The last game winning play was a gamble and could have gone either way.

  • @doonsoldier You obviously don't know what football is all about.
