charming... but one has to worry. I'm a cat lover and have had cats all my life. I adore them but let's face it.. who's never had a cat go a little bit postal on them? Take a swat for no reason or get irritated and put the bite on? It's OK if your cat weighs 10 pounds but a 200Kg tiger? That's not asking for a trip to the emerg.. it' asking for a trip to the morgue. It's still a TIGER... an apex predator and just because it's beautiful doesn't mean it's not dangerous.

A mother animal does not crush a baby either even though their sizes are greatly uneven...If the bond is right, huge or small, animals make sure not to hurt each other...It's their nature...

People are obnoxious; I get the tiger is monstrous compared to the dog, but plenty of animals coexist. As a predator, it's "natural instinct" was to rough-house as a baby, to learn it's limitations, and what is/isn't okay in a family setting. Seriously, I think the people are in more danger than the dog, as we aren't really equipped to understand predatory behaviors, things like body language, scents and territories, dominance, and what is/isn't okay to do. I also think that the tiger's natural instincts could just kick in, for no reason, and then of course it would then kill the poor dog. BUT... it's like an older sibling 'rule'. Let’s be honest here. The Tiger doesn't have to kill for his food, so he has a lot of time in between meals to hang around and play. The dog thinks he is playing with a friend. This tiger would have a snack if it was not fed or gets pissed off. Girl cats are more aggressive so I don't know how this friendship would be with a different 400 pound cat. I think these animals are amazing but not amazing pets.

The tiger for example, once it tastes human blood with all of the preservatives that are in our foods nowadays, drives the tiger mad and will hunt humans specifically until the day it dies. Just ask the people in India. Animals are very hard to predict, and even the most docile of them can snap at any moment regardless of the trainer. Just youtube any gorilla/dog/lion/bear trainer attacks and you'll see.
