  • lol sorry, Guam is not apart of Polynesia. My family is from Guam though :)

  • Why should it matter???? We are all from the pacific island!!!!! And it's not like anyone is abusing your culture, instead you should be happy that people are actually willing to live outside of their tradition and do a different dance.... Some people just need to get their heads out of their fucking ass!!!! BTW THE performance was awesome so dont let someone else tell you otherwise =)

  • Hey I'm Fijian and got mix polynesian blood also!Love watching this and some others and its really interesting to see cultural dance mixes!

  • A*W*E*S*O*M*E! <3

  • & its funny how (seasonbu ) thinks its disrespectful to collaberate different cultures

    THIS IS A POLYNATION here

we are in america its a free fucking country

we are all different dancers and we come from different places and have different techniques and styles to dancing but guess wat , we dont seem to care so why do u ?

    your just another hater

TE VAKA NUI ALL THE WAY BABY

  • xxwarmnz6xx

how are we a bunch of copy cats ?

    this was ORIGINAL CHOREOGRAPHY

& skanky ? just shut the hell up and quit hating

  • Im from the cook islands and i say well done guys.... U guys have put on a magnificent performance..... They isnt a problem with anyone using someone else's material and perfecting it...... We the cook islands have to admit, that we o use tahiti as an insperation too..... Well done guys.... Keep up the good work....

  • Nooooo, Te Vaka is a group of dancers, singers, and musicians that take and mix the music and dancing from all over the pacific, like Guam, Tahiti, Hawai'i and more. It's just a mix of Polynesian and Micronesian dancing and singing, it's suppose to be like that =)

  • Sometimes I ask my self. Why is it that islanders when we move away from the islands we go to places completely opposit to that of home. Example ( Fiji- Denver or Vancouver , Hawaii-Las Vegas, Samoa- Houston). May it's just me, Oh and by the way great vid!!

  • LOL at the close up on the guy! I kno the feeling!! thats a pretty hectick work out tho! Im not Cook Islander but I know that's not the traditional way.. which is fine.. Im open to contemporary.. but not like that.. im fine if they want to make it sexy.. but it should be a subtle, feminine sexy/ have a reason.. not a nasty sexy.. and they shouldn't b 'dropping it low' in a hula skirt like that.. hula skirt with the head gear.. makes me think 'big fast more raw/authentic cook island dances'

  • Too commercial. The costumes aren't authentic, and the skanky dancing doesn't do justice to the real thing. Sorry.

  • hey was up i danced for this group how you guys doin i danced in the junior boys

  • NOt the best cook Island dancing I've seen.... could have been a lot better with a bit more practice-

  • Brother from hawaii don't you see this REDNECK don't even have a food menu , I pray to our GOD every day to put his finger down very soon to make that country bend down & make his people stop hate plus learn they are yes human with out a life YOU FOLLOW ME brother this dancers are divas of GOD

  • to da rest of da world this is all costumes and shows or just plain tourist entertainments but to da cultures these dances originated from... we don't wear costumes or feel like we have to entertain da tourists... everything is traditional some of these attires they're wearing nowadays are actually costumes... tangata pasifika... kia'orana e kia manuia

  • The drumming sounds very messy. The hits are dull and it looks like a bunch of grown up kids prancing around with no direction. I would really like to know who the Cook Islanders are in this group? nice costumes, I enjoyed the kids show. Polish up on the drums. That is the polynesian drumming I am saying. It is a Cook Islanders drum beat don't insult it!

  • Bunch of copy cats... That drum beat, dance, is all from the Cook Islands but cut out the skanky dancing(sorry girls but its true)...

  • I'm guessing you didn't read the description then. Their dancers/dances come from Tahiti, Samoa, Aotearoa, Cook Islands, Hawaii, Tonga & Guam.

  • @Xxwarmnz6xX its not skanky its tradition so go be ignorant someplace else (: !!!

  • Sounds too messy, but they're ok.

  • what happens in Vegas should always stay in Vegas....lmao

  • the intro video music reminds of SpongeBobSqaurePants

  • Omg, the little boy doing the Tahitian dancing was absolutely ADORABLE! Too cute. :)
