The "Funeral Death March," on pipe organ is from an old tape reel. From tape reel transferred to "answering loop tape." Later, tape transferred to 1 Track CD lasting 80 minutes, hit "repeat 1, and it lasted all night. Today, you can download it for free from many Haunted House websites. Today is a lot easier than BC. (Before Computers) Today's Haunted House sound effect CDs are nice but do not fit every section or room.
@frightcrazyjim Ok I was wondering because I also have it on tape and I've always wanted to transfer it to cd because it's so creepy. It was kind of a pain because when the loop tape quit I would have to rewind it and it would take awhile. Is it easy to transfer it to a cd?
@TOYSANDMORETOYS Today? Absolutely! In fact, with today's cheap/inexpensive technology "toys" YOU can easily transfer the tape to CD and clean up the "hisssssssssss" and add echo, all on your computer! Everything I use is all antique stuff now. All YOU have to have today is a simple double 1/8" mike stereo wire into your microphone side or sound input of your computer and the other end plugs into the jack of your tape player. -or- just get the red/white analog converters.
What a great idea for that prop! Now if you only used a darker extension chord...or fed it through a drilled hole in the coffin... it would be perfect.
