HEY DUDE, PLEASE RESPOND. Ok, so your vids are the best, and i assume you know what your doing, soo. I have a little leak of air coming out of the bottom of the regulator. In between the Black nut, and the Spring Platform, or the part you removed at 3:42. Its coming out of the little hole, and im not sure what that means. Ive dissasembled the reg, and all the o'rings look fine. My last ditch effort would be to block the little hole's tube with somthing to stop it, but im not sure. Thanks! Sam.

what is the purpose of the screen that is in above the reg? i just bought my gun and it looks like it is bent? also. I think that my ion might be turning itself on when im just messing around with it. I got the gun with 14 jj barrel, upgraded feedneck bunch of spare parts and what seems to be a spare board. squeegy evo hopper, mask, jersey, stock barrel, pod pack with three pods for 160 is this a good deal?

hey um when i put in my tank to my ion the regulator wont read the pressure. the tank is fully gased because i just got it filled. i dont know how to fix it and i was wondering if anyone did. please message me back.

There are drill bits you can buy that easily remove stripped bolts/screws. Your paintball shop can probably do it for you.

Its an ion that has only one upgrade (custom products trigger) and i have a halo b hopper for itt. i tested the hopper to see if it worked and it did and i tested to see if it went thru the barrel and it did idk what to doo

@VApaintballerx No you cant. That seems pretty much impossible though, especially since reballs are smaller than regular paintballs.

@drfeelgud88 ASA means Air Source Adapter. On many guns there is 2 places with the name 'ASA' one where your air source attaches, the other where your regulator screws in.

@longrod22 no it isnt needed for the gun to operate, but to protect your solenoid it is a good idea to keep it in. If you lost it you will probably be fine with out it.

well you take it off, take off your fitting on it, then put your fitting on your cp reg, and screw ur cp reg in... very simple

yea i did it already the thing was that the fitting would come off of the stock reg thats why i asked, i had to pick up a new fitting

yes i know its impossible to take off the reg fitting, its like they used red locktite on it, i stripped mine because i wanted to take off the fittings because mine were leaking, so i had to use vice grips, lol the fitting looks retarded now lol, but im using the ninja fittings now, theyre black and look sick

It is ridiculously hard to remove the first time, but it gets easier. I had to remove the grip (it ripped a little, but still goes on fine) and then I used an ipod case (the pouch thingy you get with the ipod, not a separate one) to help grip. I swear to god, those old school ipod pouches are the best grippy thingies I have ever seen. So yea, your best bet is a cloth and pliers.

because lubricant wears away even in your regulator also sometimes disk/washer/what ever the fuck you wanna call em', can expand or shrink overtime and need to be replaced. Also O-Rings wear away.

No - the reg is sealed and does not require a service after every playing session. I recommend that you watch the drop-off (how much your gauge needle drops) when you are shooting fast.

If you see a large drop, like up to ten pounds, definitely service the reg.

I cleaned and lubed mine for the first time after replacing my stock reg a year ago.... I play every weekend. World of difference, especially with a lightened bolt.

Ions are funny animals: You can clean and lube one - put it all back together... and it will leak like a siv.

Take the body back apart, wiggle the banjo and lines - put it back together. Tight as a drum.

You have to keep trying to learn its personality.

i never even shot it, it kidna leaked all of the air, but im pretty sure it was because i had maybe like 10psi in the tank. either that or i did turn up the velocity really high when i was dissasembling it. I havent been to a field to chrono the gun yet though

First of all, IONS are awesome.

Second, DO NOT Put your regulator back on the trigger frame if you're trying to get the piston off. You only make the regulator tighter onto the trigger frame. This is a very bad idea.

This video doesn't say anything about setting velocity at all, I believe.

I tried taking out the hex bolt in the reg with the 9/16 deep well socket, but I can never get to twisting the bolt. I am turning it to the right since it is reverse threaded. I've tried so much that some black stuff has appeared on the bolt. Have any Ideas of how I can remove the bolt?
