i iike redbull (both Vettel and Webber). the only pet peve that i have with them is that they do favor Vettel. Webber and vettel are both very capable racers. If he doesnt get pole and breaks away from the pack at the start of the race, he cant overtake to save his life.

@kaculkasch If you're asking about why Webber is so upset, it's because the Red Bull team came with an updated front wing for the British GP weekend. The team had only brought one for each driver, and when Vettel broke his during practice, Red Bull gave Mark's wing to Sebastian, meaning that Mark had to drive with the old front wing thus feeling that Vettel was the driver with main priority in that team - when Red Bull haid said that they treated both drivers equally. Vettel took pole position

Sorry what happened a year later has nothing to do with what happened the year before. It's quite obvious Red bull prefer Vettel - that's not the point. Webber was mad because Vettel's new front wing was broken after practice so it was taken off Webber's car and given to Sebastian.

i iike redbull (both Vettel and Webber). the only pet peve that i have with them is that they do favor Vettel. Webber and vettel are both very capable racers. Vettel i believe is a little over rated. sure he won the championship in 2010 and is the points leader in the racers leaderboards but he isnt a good all rounded racer. he fails under pressure. If he doesnt get pole and breaks away from the pack at the start of the race, he cant overtake to save his life.

@kaculkasch If you're asking about why Webber is so upset, it's because the Red Bull team came with an updated front wing for the British GP weekend. The team had only brought one for each driver, and when Vettel broke his during practice, Red Bull gave Mark's wing to Sebastian, meaning that Mark had to drive with the old front wing thus feeling that Vettel was the driver with main priority in that team - when Red Bull haid said that they treated both drivers equally. Vettel took pole position

And then he won the race and had the nerve to say "not bad for a number 2 driver". What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say to your own team. What did he hope to accomplish by saying that?? It was not going to help his position at red bull in any way at all!
Seems to be a tradition at silverstone for webber - every year he finds something to whinge about...

@Anime998877 Well not really. I feel he has every right to feel agrieved here. We saw a YEAR later (i.e 2 weeks ago) the team telling Mark to 'maintain the gap' and then today Christian Horner was asked the question if it turns the other way today, what would you say? He replied 'let them race'. What a two-faced hypocrite. Also, he was right to say 'not bad for a number two driver' because even if Red Bull say he isn't, it is what he is unfortunately for him because he deserves to be World Champ

Sorry what happened a year later has nothing to do with what happened the year before. It's quite obvious Red bull prefer Vettel - that's not the point. Webber was mad because Vettel's new front wing was broken after practice so it was taken off Webber's car and given to Sebastian.
However one thing that Webber fans continue to ignore is that Webber didn't even like the new front wing and complained about it. While Vettel enjoyed it a lot more. What obligation did Webber have to keep it?

Because of this stupid little thing Webber started acting like a complete imbecile. Attacking his own team even after winning the race. Calling himself a "number 2" - again I stress that saying such an idiotic thing over the radio is shameful and ridiculous. If I was Horner I would have sacked him right then and there.
Webber doesn't deserve to be world champion until he starts beating Vettel on a consistent basis. Nobody else in the championship is 80 points behind his team mate.

@Anime998877 Well he IS a Number 2 driver. If Horner sacked him there and then, Webber would have taken him to the cleaners at a tribunal for unfair and constructive dismissal! You can say it was idiotic, but it was true. Blatantly taking a newer, more updated version of the front wing off Webber's car and putting it on Vettel after he damaged his own. If that isn't favouritism, can you explain to me what is?
