Sharks don't eat humans. Unprovoked shark bite fatalities worldwide is 4.3 per year, and that's because sharks need to feel things with their teeth (things that are magnetic, that is). No species of sharks eat humans. The substantial danger in this case was of drowning, not at all of the shark wanting revenge.
