You can get high power low priced lasers but these lasers normally have the following problems

-advertised power is peak power not average

-no IR filter which is dangerous and deceptive in terms of power level

-poor beam quality

-poor quality construction and do not last long

The classic laser pointer is the size of a large pen and can fit in your shirt pocket. The Spartan lasers are too big for a shirt pocket.

i say the best deal is the Viper 95mW. the 15mW is $100 and the 95mW is $200. for only $100 more, you get more the 6 times the power. the 125 mw is $300 so for another $100 you only get 1.3 times more power.

If you bought it online from a non-reliable source it's probably shoddy. e.g. only 25 mW will be green while the last 75 mW is made up of infrared which is invisible and horrible for your eyes. for 15+ mW buy from a reliable source.

The safety glasses work well enough to provide protection against 2000mW lasers which is more than double any portable laser.

Laser safety glasses are not designed to protect against the sun. Our glasses for UV lasers would offer a degree of protection but not complete.

Yes. Normally 10mW will be clearly visible at night.

The power of a laser is measured in mW (like lights are measured in watts). The Viper 125mW has at least 125mW of power.
