  • The Zeitgeist Movement (TZM) has been showing that we have the ability to generate energy, food, housing, health and education for everyone in the world, while, at the same time, we are able to ELIMINATE OUR ECONOMICAL, SOCIAL & ECOLOGICAL CRISIS along with corruption, poverty, abuse of power, unemployment, social stratification, and other factors that hinder the life and sustainability of the planet and its inhabitants. To know more about it, watch: "Zeitgeist Addendum" - It is on youtube

    :)

  • @leanlifter And girls....=D Let´s do this transition.....

  • why is there only 3 minutes of this talk? and the link provided does not include the talk in video or in audio?

  • @leanlifter sorry... but that is a ridiculous statement.... sex is much better... and requires no technology.. and yes.. is worth living to get laid..(i'm only giving you 1 example.. there are many others)

  • @leanlifter

serious? i dont think thats true..

otherwise people 200 years ago all also kill themself

just like in about 500 years everybody is peacefull and happy and no slave to the system they say:

''if i would live in the year 2011 my life wouldn't be worth living''

  • @remcobrobbel Well this statement could be true when looked at past, until that point when people had no knowledge of technology. Imagine man saying 3000 years a go, "i'd kill myself if we had no wheels). Of course this notion is appraised much more due to relevance/influence of technology in our current society. Doesn't go for but certain inviduals though.

  • @laitela01 i agree

so we are indoctrinated to think serious we cant be happy with all the christmas crap and such, thats sad..

  • @leanlifter Think so too but you cannot underrate humans alone who care about more then money. Technology is only as good as the people who wield it.

  • I just wonder how they plan to implant the society zeitgeist describes, I mean its not just gonna happen one day everyone decides to stop working and work together, and develop new technology together thinking as a unified mankind nation, and I think the government and rich people with power will do everything they can to stop this from happening because they would have less power and riches if everyone had a fair life in the planet, I like the idea of zeitgeist, but I dont see a way out...

  • @xaleu you answered your own question, a movement like this does not happen overnight, it takes a great deal of time for this mode of thinking to become prevalent through a large portion of the population, which is why peter keeps driving the message home that all members job right now is spreading awareness. I know that it's frustrating that we can't dramatically change things right now, but this is the way that peaceful movements work.

  • politics is a failure of the economic system just as avarice is a failure of virtue.

politics is like the puss of a wrongly inflicted wound surging to patch only itself.

  • @leanlifter Woah, that's pretty cold don't you think! Technology can improve our circumstances.. but aren't relationships and the quality of our relationships the only thing that really makes this life worth living..

  • @magicdarragh

    it's subjective.

  • @xjustamem0ryx Yeah, I guess it is. Woo individuality :)

  • @magicdarragh

    PARTAYYY! thoughts gone wild!

  • @magicdarragh Sorry, I haven't seen the original comment you are responding to. When they talk about technology improving our circumstances they are talking about the logistics of society and making sure we all have what we the things need like food, and time, so we can focus our energy on humanity's advancement and personal relationships instead of things like how many proprietary patents can we come up with so no one can repair the products we sell that are designed to fail after one year.

  • @wonmoreminute Oh yeah I recognize that. The comment I was responding to was; "Technology is the only thing that makes this life worth living" - a comment which misses the point that technology is merely a potential means to enhance the experiences of this life, and that it is not the point or meaning in and of itself. Like you said, I think the quality of our relationships with one another ("love") is what makes it all worth while. I recognize the role tech can play in aiding this process.

  • @magicdarragh Ah yes, now reading through the comments I see what you were responding to and it all makes perfect sense. Well, the comment you responded to doesn't make any sense... does someone really believe technology is the only thing that makes life worth living? Or, maybe that author clarified that in a later post as well... I guess I should read more before responding :-D

  • @cipihevent very true... although i'd say the basic point in either case would be the same: the damage or potential damage caused/promoted by the current economic structure gives rise to a political system designed to control/manage that damage... in other words, Without such a harmful economic system, the political system wouldn't need to exist...

  • can you post the link in the info bar next time? then I can just click it instead of typing it in myself. thank you. great video!

  • @leanlifter Technology utilised properly will help us in unfathomable ways but it will not define our lives. I hope you would agree with this distinction. I would live for my family, my species. Almost everything in existence is exquisite enough to generate interest and joy (for the most part). Technology is the means, not the meaning.

  • Where is the rest of it?

  • We need to take down the banks and the upper 1 percent first. These crooks are greedy power freaks and sadly it's not going to go down without a fight. What do we do??

  • @tropical481 We have to take away the power from them. And we do that by educating people, teaching them how the banks work, what is the purpose of war, and everything else. When the people in the military and the police understand what we now know, we'll have them on our side. The upper 1% is nothing without the military and the police.

  • i love how ignorant the guy is....he's on his friggin phone instead of listening

  • @kyuubiflame But what's ironic is that the guy is using technology like Peter Joseph is saying! LMAO!

  • I wish PJ, Jacque and Ray Kurzweil would do an idea mash-up

  • We just need to work WITH Nature,, learn how it works,, not exploit it or try to force it

  • wheres the psychical blueprints to make these ideals reality? he talks about it but im not seeing real physical technical solutions to these problems?

  • All we need is healthy food, shelter, real education, trust, fairness, & each other!

  • Still doesn't answer the question on how to bring about this utopia without centralized, monetized, totalitarian govt. The technocrats in charge? This is the New World Order writ LARGE. Joseph, however, is obviously correct in assessment of the monetary-"free" market value system v. a resource based value system. Until mass extermination is a reality, his ideas simply don't have any political legs, at least among Americans who value their liberty over their safety. Please vote Ron Paul in 2012.

  • @BrotherWoody1 To answer your question on HOW we are going to achieved this, is only by Synergy. You see, we have to incorporate every science to address every aspect or problem of society. For instance, how we are going to maintain water supply to 5 millions people without money. The issue here of course is no the system of the water supply itself, instead is how we are going to maintain the people who gives maintenance to that system? It is not utopia, it just a technical problem.

  • It's still very much a matter of a. local water supplies; b., the nation states & its empires competing for all the natural resources. Technical solutions are undoubtedly correct in the long view but in the short term, we don't have the politics to engineer much of anything except competition, greed, poverty, war & destruction. Zeitgeist communities are desirable both now & in the future but the politics won't emerge until after the collapse. Will we be ready with a plan for implementation?

  • @BrotherWoody1 That's a great question, and as you can imagine I do not have a response for that. But we are working every day on many 'fronts' so that we can gain as much people because we need all the skills that we can get in order to seek and find the solution in a holistic way. Maybe we will have a plan ready, maybe not but I'm working everyday to make it happen.

  • Good for you & us, please keep it up! Unless citizens are brought to action in a "holistic way," the Zeitgeist revolution has the potential of becoming, like every other revolution throughout history, a tyrannical monopoly run by the few at the expense of liberty & justice. So far, I believe, the social engineers have been co-opted by the elite class of Malthusian eugenics & international banking & corporate monopolies. It's precisely this cabal that I'm hoping Ron Paul will begin to dismantle.

  • @BrotherWoody1 I agree the potential exists, the movement does however at first seems that way when thought of in terms of a monetary system. If you haven't already, read through the complete orientation guide on their site, and listen to the many Q&A's on the web. When there is no money, their is no "ownership". Monopolies cannot exist without some form of ownership. How that would work is explained in the extensive literature the movement has put together.

  • @BrotherWoody1 so this problems are not resolved by politicians, they are resolved by technicians, politicians only study to make law, but laws doesn't build houses or feed people they just control the behavior of the people so they can act in certain way . Do you see my point. BTW, I will vote for Ron Paul, not because i believe he will fix things, it just because he is the one with more sense in his head.

  • 0:00 "What is the political system? It's really a failure of the economic system!" I wonder how many people understand the gravity of that statement...

  • @pharaoh9000 What a show starter }:^0

  • @pharaoh9000

    exactly.

it's comedy how we continue to let ideology decide fate.

ideology is the refuge for ignorance. a euphemismic sanction for mob mentality.

  • @pharaoh9000 yeah actually it's not really a failure, it's on purpose to control the economic system, he meant failure for the overall since the economic system is already a failure.

  • @pharaoh9000 Greed!

the need to create externalities (governments/capitalists) to enslave the bottom feeders with inefficient allocation of resources.

  • I used to get inspired by videos like this, but now it just makes me realize how much I hate stupid people. And, that is the vast majority.

  • @vorkvoyd Same here, sometimes I get so angry that I feel like going around and beating people up... but then I realise that it's not their fault, they're brainwashed, they're mentally sleeping and not aware of it.

Instead of hating them, we should help them wake up :)

  • @erasmusso That continues to prove to be a challenge. They are practically in a coma.

  • @vorkvoyd Unfortunately I agree, but I don't know what else to do :(

  • Note that he's not saying that politics is irrelevant. He says that in terms of a RBE it's the same as money. Politics and money are necessary today. Inefficient and ineffective and damaging, but still relevant. As relevant as money.

Today, the only people who can ask the questions posed in minute 1'40 ¿How can we technically organise our society to feed and care and provide the needs? are politicians.

  • You are the same as them Small men with big mouths. Whoever I find confronting me in a negative way personally will lose his weapon appendage if it's your mouth then it's your mouth. star trek will never work because it's the pudding-boys who seek it

  • I was there!!!!!!

  • I'm all for technology but "the problem(s) with the human being" are ones that we should and can get over by ourselves. Technology shouldn't be needed for that.

  • peter joseph for president 2012 ... ironically i think he should

  • @KNUTKASE5000 ...a president to end all presidency... :)

  • Comment removed

  • where do get full talk yo?

  • Excellent Mr.Joseph, just excellent!

  • I have tremendous respect for Peter Joseph and the ZG movement and I support them 100%. However, I have serious misgivings about his focus on and faith in technology. I fully support the concept but I feel strongly that too great a focus on technology can be a dangerous thing.

  • @johnmcmns199 I fear the POLICE STATE we now have, more.

  • @johnmcmns199

    right.

I totally agree with PJ analysis of our socities,

    in zeitgeist series,

but I do not subcribe, at all, with their "solution",

    the venus project.

technic, technicians, & technology is not the solution.

    ...far from it

  • @astralseeker What do you think would be a better solution?

  • @erasmusso

1-there are too many different groups, lobbies, etnicities, religions (etc...)

influencing this planet for their own power to define any viable "solution"

2-the solution will not come from the human race, we are too dumb & negative for that

3-mankind totally believes that its technological advancement allows us to bend Nature to every bound we want: that is a big mistake. Nature is above all & above us

4- this civilisation is totaly driven by greed, money profit & disrespect

  • @erasmusso

    so,

we, human being, follow the exact path that we followed for centuries:

wars, violence, colonisations, drug addict societies, mistrust, no ethical values, no respect for our human brothers, no respect for animals, plants, trees, oceans etc....

and as every type of nrj bring with it its opposite (law of equilibrium),

mother Nature, bit by bit, is starting to clean the place.

we have to totally crash into the wall,

then the survivors will start a totally different system

  • @erasmusso

1-most of our nrj for transport come from petroleum.

oil is made of dead plants & animals

2- nuclear power plant produce lethal nrj by "exploding atoms

3- most human beings eat dead animals in theireveryday meals

4- most engine (plane,trucks,cars...) use a system called gaz engine & , in french: moteur à EXPLOSION

so most of our nrj sources are based on death or destructions

our food (I have been eating organic & natural for more than 20 years) is pure industrial shit

  • @astralseeker Thanks for your answer, I read all your posts and I agree with you, but everything you said is exactly what the venus project is about. I heard the same things you said from Fresco. Maybe you misunderstood the function of technology in the venus project, Fresco explained that technology would not be used to bend nature to our needs, technology is just a tool, like hammers and nails. And of course, before we even start the venus p. a new consciousness must arise.

  • @erasmusso

some "artificial islands" emerge in the ocean only composed of plastic bags & plastic garbages coming from our streets

we destroy forest, animals, ocean, rivers etc ...

we have to create a society without money, without financial profits, without social classes, without presidents , tyrans or kings.

And as ou overall level of consciousness, as a specie, correspond to approximately a 2 years old baby,

we have to be hit by massive catastrophies to trigger the consciousness revolution

  • @erasmusso the first "thing" to happen is not killing elites or bombing central banks, it is simply raising the level of consciousness of ourselves, our families, friends, neighbours etc... learn what real spirituality is, not religion. learn meditation learn how to breath learn how to be helpfull for our communities learn the sacred nature of Nature learn that the beauty of a flower has more value than a box full of $ learn to devellop our intuition & act based on those intuitions
  • @erasmusso

you do not change socities from outside

you do not in irak or who knows where to impose "democracy" to people who are millions years away from your culture & way of thinking

you change "things" from the inside

we need a total revolution of consiousness inside human beings mind

and this, to my opinion, at this point,

can only happen through massive catastrophies,

that will trigger in low level consciousness human beings some radical change in the way they perceive the whole world

  • @erasmusso

right now every one is living in his own bubble:

economists preaching their own theories & "solutions":

    religious leaders preaching their own millenium-old-lies & end-of-the-world theories;

politicians still arguing about which "system" is the "solution",when, clearly, none of them is viable (capitalism, communism, socialism etc...are all big mistakes)

the mess is so deep , the actors so numerous, that no clear solution will come from us

we have to be violently hit by Nature

  • @erasmusso

    the venus project proposes a society based on technologies & technics;

but the problem is human consciousness.

we ,as a specie, have created a materialistic society based on money, technologies & power over our fellow brother.

we have to devellop the total opposite:

    - food produced locally & non industrially

    - an education focusing on human values, poetry, music, siences repectfull of Nature, hollistic medicines,

meditation training, respect of life in all its forms

  • @astralseeker "but the problem is human consciousness."

Don't sweat it. Our limited and primitive semi-ape consciousness itself will be transcended in the future. We will have amazing new abilities.

  • @astralseeker I agree with you, but isn't what you propose the same as what the venus project proposes? Fresco said that in the venus project food would be produced organically and locally, everybody would be educated and taught to respect all living things, not just humans, also animals and plants. In his cities he specifically designed music centers, art centers, sport centers, etc and he said that all waste would be recycled and only sustainable energy would be used to protect the nature.

  • @johnmcmns199 If you don't get the crucial importance of technology, then you don't get it, period. It's the only thing that can fix both society and the human condition.

  • @Parapon3ra You are quite correct sir. I don't get it. You are so eager to hand over your divine gift of creation and your innate right of soveriegn self determination to machinery. Why? --- At no time have I ever denigrated technology (perhaps you should work on your reading comprehension) but it is far from having the godlike powers you seem to want to give it. Maybe we could get the machines to spiritualy evolve for us.

  • @johnmcmns199 There is no 'divine gift'. There's just evolution, a process that has neither a plan nor purpose, and simply happens because it can. Civilization is a revolt against the tyranny of the natural order (which is brutal and inefficient), but until we start using technology to not just fundamentally change the world around us, but ourselves as well, we will remain deeply flawed and rather miserable creatures. Without technology we are animals, but with it we could be gods.

  • I can't wait until this monetary machine collapses and crashes. It's time to move onto a new way of living our lives. We should have been free of money a hundred years ago. We are so behind!

  • @bloodyvamp77 , there is a tool for this. It's called "communication". Since enough people understand what we are trying to promote, no government can't stop us.

But I don't think this answer is enough for you right now. :)

  • I'm glad he mentioned the Singularity. I believe that the people promoting the Singularity and the people from the TZM should collaborate much more frequently, since so many of their ideas and beliefs are similar.

  • I like the Ideas Peter, but once again whats the plan, the ideas are great but I still have not heard a course for implementation of these ideas, THATS what I want to hear.

  • @mariss711

well the current paradigms won't cease without kicking and screaming and war, so we'll probably have to wait until their system dies from the inside out (point of no return) and then when there is a slate neutral enough to build upon. even then there's still the task of rehabilitating social memes so that in their stockholm's syndrome it doesn't get put back up like the protests and revolts in the middle east.

we need to wean ignorance with an IV of empathetic reason.

  • @xjustamem0ryx

it's going to feel like tearing up every single pavement infrastructure and replacing it with solar highways.

  • @xjustamem0ryx Its sad really to think that you are correct, scores of people will still pay the ultimate price in the name of the Hindenburg of a society we live in. I just hope that when it is in its death knells it doesn't take all of us with it in a glowing mushroom cloud.

  • @mariss711

"BOMB SHELTERs! Get yer RED HOT Bomb Shelters!"

    :(

  • I'm ready. let's go.

  • Makes sense to me!

  • I think Peter Joseph have watched the movie 'Equilibrium' too much.

  • @JeremiahMarkus EQUILIBRIUM - Blut Im Auge.. Fuck yeah thanks for reminding me of that awesome metal song!! \,,/

  • @Roffe192 No problem, you should look into the movie too.

  • Zeitgeist is the NWO.

  • @3VOLution3NO u mad bro?

  • @mazarefense

lol. There are evident connections between Zeitgeist/TVP and the UNITED NATIONS. Im sure you know very well about the UN's intentions but if not, they're goal is to usher in a ONE WORLD SYSTEM. Its not that hard to put it together. They create a problem ie complete societal failure, then offer a solution; a seemingly technotronic transhumanistic communist marxist world system. Dont fall for their trap. peace.

  • @3VOLution3NO You're so full of your own delusions that you can't even see the reality as it is.

  • I have listened to some of these New World Order talk show hosts and theorists and it is frightening. They use fear as a control mechanism. I was listening to a guy that was talking about seeing a few tanks and army trucks driving down the road and the talk show host took it to mean that they were moving all these things around because they were amassing a strike and getting ready for the new political power. It was insane to me. The conclusion was arrived at with no proof or rationality.

  • @KingGoddard mind you this is directed at @3VOLution3NO and how crazy these type of people can get because they want to be prepared for destruction or control. They have listened to so much of it in fact they believe anything new is the NWO. Granted there may be people trying to come into power and control the world, but it isn't Peter or Jacque. That is just laughable because the system the propose they only gain respect and admiration. This type of system gives us access to everything.

  • @3VOLution3NO As opposed to what ? A society controlled by banks and corporations that's destroys the earth for the sake of profit? Where the rich get richer and poor get poorer? The whole New World Order argument is meaningless.

  • A simple tripod would be cheap and would make a world of difference in the filming of this conference. Looking at this right now reminds me of the movie "Cloverfield". But the content is super. Thanks Peter. You are are part of the revolution.

  • Peter J. gives words to that what I always felt to be the one and only solution to peace and well-being. Thanks, Peter, I'm behind you and I promote 'Zeitgeist' whenever I can -- I wish you GOOD LUCK!

  • We have to focus on mass producing algae for fossil fuels, look into various methods to create phase transitions so we can easily convert gases to solids and vice versa, as well as build massive skyscraper farms. Crops of all kinds, Livestock, Dairy, fisheries, even regular tree farms.

In such a facility, pesticides will not be necessary

Even massive storage would ensure even if there was a disaster, we would continue to survive.

Why don't we have these already?

  • @LegendaryAsshole They cost money, but don't create profit, which causes lack of interest by the current economic system.

  • @Gyohdon You mean the fossil fuels produced dont make money, the crops dont make money? the excess energy doesnt make money? The plant fibres, fruits and vegetables, livestock, and fertilizer dont make money?

    *epic headdesk*

  • @LegendaryAsshole Less than oil.

  • @Gyohdon But you'd be mass producing renewable fossil fuel!! A few of these facilities would produce the worlds needs in fuel for a month, weekly. I still believe the burning of fossil fuels is ridiculous, but the creation of biodegrabable plastics is wise.

  • @LegendaryAsshole Yes, I completely agree.

I'm just saying that currently there is a lack of interest in the world for these things for their lack of profit.

  • @Gyohdon The profit actually exceeds the current method, which is wrought with expenses that are as ludicrous as the environmental damages.

You have a massive skyscraper fuel farm and you have a catastrophic leak or explosion... Far easier to control, maintain, and clean.

  • @LegendaryAsshole We're talking pure monetary profit here, businessmen don't care about environmental disasters.

Except if it happened in their backyard, but they don't build their industrial complexes in their backyards.

  • @Gyohdon The most difficult expenses regarding this is constructing each building. After that, maintenance is less expensive than oil refineries, and the production method is less volatile.

Also, How is this for money issues for them

if they don't do it, I will

  • @LegendaryAsshole I like that mindset. I hope it works out ;)

  • please more :)

  • soon we will get there. After the end of the ponzi scheme comes tumbling down. It is at the end now.

  • @diggdog528 But more will be erected. This is about global education

  • I live in Argentina and that's a constant, people still think about how can politics change things for the best and I don't know how to tell them that's impossible and it's not even meant to be true.

  • Some people think that technology will take over people in the Venus Project. Does the refrigerator, television and microwave in house take over you? No, they are only there to serve you.

  • Peter articulates him self so well. Wise words.

  • Go Brazil, Go rest of South America, Go Canada, Go Spain, Portugal, Greece and every European, Go World, let´s do it.

  • @raultejedor Greetings from Portugal! :)

  • I really hope full video will be uploaded soon

  • All this is so easy to get and it's such a intelligent way looking at things. Thats why we don't already have it I suppose..

  • Every time you create a new law, you create new criminals, yeah for the prison state.

  • i liek peter. peter are smarts

  • full video?

  • in a perfect world....

  • @MrRandomBlahhh No, not a perfect world, simply a cibernated world where decisions are derived at by careful computations of all the variables, devoid of human opinion.

You will se that it is far from utopia, since technology can fail, natural disaster can still strike and there are still tonnes of things that can go wrong, the difference is that there are no more monetary or political obstructions so that solving those problems is a lot more quick and efficient.

  • @Beef1188 wow, you really understand the RBE.

    Congratulations!

  • @Beef1188 All he heard there was "blah blah big words, No freedom or rights" which couldn't be further from the truth.

  • @LegendaryAsshole Im afraid I don't understand what you are refering too...

  • @Beef1188 The person you spoke to earlier, about the "perfect world" crack.

  • @LegendaryAsshole Yes well, it was a silly statement, almost childish... ;)

  • @Beef1188 Unfortunately, thats the majority of the world, either they cant see the issues, or they don't care.

  • @LegendaryAsshole When they want somebody to do something for them and not gauge them for money, remind them that they said that.

  • @Beef1188 Putting an IA in the power can be a quite weird experience.

I wouldn't like to wake up knowing that the president is a PC.

  • @yuirrr Oh really? You don't have problems delegating decisions to a calculator or a scale.

There is no politics in a RBE, because nobody would know what to do with them. There would be no president, since there would be no nation to be president about.

  • @yuirrr

    complete misunderstanding of the ideas

  • @yuirrr You really show a huge ignorance on this subject. I really suggest you watch some of Peter's lectures or actually watch the Zeitgeist movies. I also would recommend you check out the movement's website.

  • hibernation VS. cybernation imo.

  • In graduating punishment, we progress as a society. In graduating the political system, we progress the human society.
