Ahh ok, yeh i didnt know that you could still leave the motor in the water. Cheers mate for clearing that up for me. least now i dont have to keep ripping the outboard on and off! We also camp on a property just past savages crossing, im heading out this weekend to try some spinner baits. Never caught any bass down that way but hopefully we get a few. Cheers mate
Hi Bonza, The river is fairly clear of weed now so you should be able to cast those spinnerbaits easily enough. However the river is still running dirty so it might fish a bit tough.
is it possible to catch bass off the shore at logans inlet wivenhoe dam? and if you can what bait is the best or lure. thanks

Hi Bonza. It certianly is Lake Wivenhoe. Outboard motors can be left on boats on lake Wivenhoe but the motors are not permitted to be used.

How can this be Lake Wivenhoe? All the pics have boats with petrol outboards. Petrol outboards are ilegal in Wivenhoe?
