You're probably right about this creature - still room for refinement.
Most of the creatures on my channel were run for ~500 generations and stopped just because those were the experiment settings back when I was collecting data. Many of them could probably stand to run longer.
I upgraded to Vista a few months ago. The version of Windows Movie Maker I had earlier was a lot more primitive than the new one (though, frankly, it's still pretty sad nonetheless) and I'm learning more about the "publishing" settings.
Also, I compile the raw PNG snapshots from 3DVCE with some better software than I had used earlier. Now I use the Xvid MPEG-4 codec, set to max quality.
Trying to learn a bit more about the video-editing process when I can :)
