Let me teach you exploring: 8:05 go left under this bridge, open chest, open your mouth, yell WOAH, hit about ~45 endurance so you can easily run with this(it tooks max. 40 minuts with this farm) and like this comment so everyone can open this chest. Of course you can do this in very early game thanks to bridge dragon farm.
PS. U got strange stats, I put in str, endurance, vitality + 18 dex and 14 faith.
@HowcastGaming7:51 To the left, there is a huge giant cat who is looking at you and somehow you dont even see it xD He doesn't give giant cuddles D: , but he gives the covenant of Forest Hunter :D
@HowcastGaming this is Dark Souls. Has anything up to this point given you giant cuddles? The only thing close would be when the Gaping Dragon put you in its mouth, and that killed you.
if you make your shield face out towards the cliff you will block their fall.
Endurance is pretty key for this game I maxed my stamina(40 endurance) as soon as i could then 16 str and 20 dex are solid dump rest into vit/attunement if you want to use more magic. There is a stone armor set behind that building where you fell its very good heavy armor i made use of it in several situations(comes essentially fully upgraded so you dont have to).
Grinding souls to level up really doesn't affect the balance of the game as much as one might assume. I've done a few low level runs and the difficulty jump from a normal playthrough is hardly noticeable in most situations. Equipment upgrades are where the majority of your character's power comes from.
That said, stamina is a pretty great stat to invest into for any melee player. If you don't know where to stick points, endurance is always a safe bet until it hits 40.
@NZVargs I agree 95%. Leveling up helps, but not as much as you'd think.
The thing I love most about this game is that you, as a player, are "leveling up" along with your character. I mean you improve just by playing the game: how to manage stamina, time parrys, roll-dodge, etc. This was really noticeable when I started a new character and realized how much easier the game felt despite the low-level stats and equipment. It was easier because I was "level-ed up" :P
am i the only one who something at 7:50? o.0
