I love glee and rocky horror but after I saw there version of time warp I lost most of the respect I had for them. This is a movie not designed for high school. Because little kids watch glee it was tamed again and again so that it was "PC" but RHPS was never intended to be. They could have done hairspray and got on well but no they chose a classic that should never be changed ever.

I remain disappointed that RHPS is remembered mainly for tranvestisism rather than the numerous metaphors that you could read in to it. The classic haunted house set up- the 1950s B movie references, post-war suspicion of Germany (Janet 'Weiss' - white symbolising purity, something that is threatened during the film, 'Frank 'n' furter- Frankfurt in Germany as well as a cinematic 'hot dog'). 'Brad majors'- a stereotypical American college boy name and Denton its white picket fence setting.

I once watched this in an open air cinema with about 17,000 people.

About half the audience was dressed up as transvestites and most had toilet paper, rice, water pistols, toast, flour and all the other weird stuff. Quite an experience.
