@zonavick so it smells wet but is the texture wet? If the texture is wet let it sit out of the jar until dry. there will still be moisture in the stems when the leaves and bud are dry. is the texture is completely dry, but the smell is like hay, then it dried to quick b4 going into the jars. properly drive it will be ready in 1 week, but will get better as it goes on.

@Pedenergy actually thats the secons step lol it goes into a bag for a couple days to slow the drying down you dont want moild and you dont want to leave it hanging for too long as it will over dry.

you can leave them in the jars for years, maybe burping every couple weeks, but I'd say once a week to burp after that...... really the key is no set method.... just to keep a close eye on it and see what works best for you. if I say every 7 days that might not be correct for your climate, so I say about a week give or take a day.... if you been smoking bud for a while you should know right when it's about perfect.

you don't want to put them away wet, when you think theyre dry it will still give off moisture from the stems. so you will most want it a little brittle, when it goes into the jars.
