Smoke the big name cigars bought at cigar shops, hand rolled, they aren't laced like cigarettes, but what kills you is what is sprayed on the leaves during their growth My great grandfather grew tobacco, he carried dried leaves in his pocket to put in a pipe or rolling paper.
Unfortunately, people like George Burns have not been replaced..... TV and radio just are not like they were in the olden tymes...... so I relive the Golden Age by using YouTube.... thanks for the creation of YouTube!
I'm sorry but I just never found George Burns or Milton Berle funny. I loved the rest of those era. Red Buttons, Martin & Lewis,Sid Caeser,Red Skelton,Jackie Gleason, Art Carney. They were all great but this old fart never did anything funny. He just stood there with that big stogie and telling stupid stories.
Be sure to read some of the books by Burns. "All My Best Friends" is a tremendously amusing and interesting book written about his experiences in the entertainment business.
George rocks! He did live a long life as did Jack Benny, Milton Berle, Bob Hope, Phyllis Diller, Betty White, Bea Arthur, and some others I have probably forgotten. These people are all comedy greats and have made me laugh for many years now.
@storrs19 Don Rickles is another one. Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby (who I got to see 4 days before my 22nd birthday and got to speak with during the show). The comedy greats are always the one that laid the ground work. I love humor as much as you do.
I know that alot of people ask why or how is it that classic comedians lives so long. Laughter. thats it, laughter keeps people healthy and they know hope, george loved gracie and knew that she would be waiting.
People knew how to keep hope because they struggled through alot and the only thing that they could keep and share with others is jokes, laughter, and love.
George Burns was very funny and missed all lot. he did live along life, just like Bob Hope both men lived to 100yrs of age....a long life indeed not many people live that long. I'm 40yrs old and both Men and Vincent Price were 3 great talent I wish I had a chance to meet them before they passed away...but I have the memories of them..
i'm 32 years old and i remember George. i grew up in manton projects and all we had was an old black and white tv back in 1982. fox ch64 played old movies and shows with George Burnes in them ,, i remember OH GOD YOU Devel.. that was a good movie i recomend seeing it .. George Well miss you !!
Great comedians like George Burns & Bob Hope lived to a ripe old age. It confirms that not only did they lived a full life, but a life full of smiles & laughter as well. Whatta way to live! I guess laughter is the best medicine - for disease or old age for that matter. So keep a sense of humor everybody! :)
I loved Oh God. Sadly I do not have any clips. But I will never forget his reply when someone asked him, How was sex at 90+? He replied, It is the same as trying to play snooker with a rope. Lol THE BEST
Bob Hope lived to 100, and his wife Dolores just died last month at the age of 102.

I love gracie's face at 2:45-47 when she says, "And then I do my drinking!"
It gives me hope to hear about a Hollywood couple that truly loved each other.
George tells the best stories!!!!
