Hi Chloe! Rachel's theory about Roo seemed to work the other week. She threw away the spurs and crop and he was just like his old self although he did have one wobbly moment! He even got first in one class. However, this weekend just gone, we went to a local competition and tried again and it was stop after stop... at least he wasn't rearing but there was no drive in him:-(

Hi ChestnutThunder - a lot of people have trouble pronouncing her name! The nearest equivalent in English (it's actually a dutch name) is "Ermaline" but we call her "Urm" or "Ermy" for short.

Getting to my real comment: Wow. Simply wow. It looks like 2008 has been a "river" year, with all its ebs and flows. The song really goes well with Rachel's beautiful riding and it interprits the ups and downs or the year. Congratulations to Rachel and good luck in 2009!

Please dont take this the wrong way, and i actually mean it as a compliment. When I first saw rachel on Urmalijn, I always used to think, "why is she catching her int he mouth, she was really good on rebel" but now that I've started jumping the height that she is with a new horse, I've realized its a really hard thing not to do! So anyone whos criticized Rachel or anyone else in these videos, don't open your mouth before you've done what she has!
