  • On the idot scale I guess they are about even.

  • Faux News is so nauseating. Could they be any more obvious about kissing Palin's ah... ass

  • It looks like Palin was ten point behind in that poll, but they try to make it sound like a dead heat. Don't lie about the polls while displaying them. Do one or the other.

  • rasmussen reports are hilarious. you could have 500 polls saying obama is up 8 pts, rasmussen will say mccain is up 1 pt. go to rasmussen website, like a giant mccain advertisement. just hilarious, foxnews is pure entertainment, what a channel

  • fe·ces /ˈfisiz/ Pronunciation[fee-seez]

noun (used with a plural verb)

1.waste matter discharged from the intestines through the anus; excrement.

    2.dregs; sediment.

    Also, especially British, faeces.

    [Origin: 142575; late ME < L faecés]

No, I'm an American, not European.

  • Yeah, thanks for proving my point: "Also, ESPECIALLY British, faeces."

  • Sarah Palin is faeces.

  • If you're gonna call someone feces, you should at least learn how to spell it. Just a thought.

  • Learn Latin, prick.

  • No thanks, I think I'll just stick with English.

  • Even then, faeces is correct.

    Just google it.

  • Don't correct people with false information.

Dan Quayle: "Just add one letter on the end: potatoE". He was a joke just like you.

  • What 'false information?' If this guy wants to use the latin origins of the word thats fine with me, but thats not how us modern folks pump.

  • Yeah in English its also spelled "faeces"- you're not too bright.

  • OBAMA ftw. :) palin...ehh

  • Where the fuck are they getting these statistics? I saw the exact same poll on CNN saying that 59% of "America" said that they were less likely to vote for McCain because of Palin. What sample sizes are we getting here and just what are they showing?

  • CNN what a joke. You need to watch FOX

  • Yeah, what a joke! Fox is the place to go if you want some REAL good old fashioned lies.

  • to hawardhsz - if you consider GWB experience good, then you must have slept the last 8 years. As others have mentioned, GWB is a disaster for our country.

  • Suddenly Repubs are talking about judgement instead of experience. Judgement needs knowledge. Does Palin has enough knowledge of foreigh affair in this critical time, as well as domestic one?

  • back to you

    Does Obama ?

    that's why he picked Biden

and with this chioce he admits that he is lack of knowledge of foreign affairs

  • oh by the way

Palin is running for "Vice" President

meanwhile Obama is on the top of the ticket

use your brain to think not the color of the skin

  • OK, Obama has 0 experience + Biden has 100, the total point is 100. Should something happen to Obama, still the total is 100.

Mccain 100 + Palin 0 = 0, but If something should happen to Mccain, the total is 0.

That's why the VP pick is so important. Use YOUR brain and Think carefully, if you really put COUNTRY FIRST.

  • ekfhd001, so let's vote for a president with 0 experience because the vice presidential candidate of the opposing ticket also has 0 experience??

Everyone that knows Sarah has testified to her amazing ability to adapt to new challenges and quickly learn and absorb new information. Just talking with McCain on the campaign trail, she'll learn quite a lot. She's already been overseas to show support for the troops there as governor of Alaska.

  • Bob Dole ran for president in 1996... "But he's too old, he'll probably die in office!" 12 years later, Bob Dole's still doing fine... McCain's mom is still doing fine at 96... George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara still doing fine (married 63 years).

"But Dick Cheney's going to die of heart attack while in office!"... 7 years later, he's still doing fine, and his term as vice president is almost finished.

Just a few things I wanted to point out since this subject is brought up every 4 yrs ;)

  • andrea082, I agree, she will learn some on the trail. Then how about Obama? He's already learned and been an expert on the almost 2-year-campaign trail. And he's been approved by over 36 million people.

  • huh? How do you know what Obama has learned and become an expert on??

ekfhd001, Obamba picked Biden for VP last month. Since then they have barely spent any time together. Biden also said about Obama that the presidency "doesn't lend itself to on-the-job training". So now he's going to train him? lol! poor guy

Palin will have sufficient time to learn and absorb all there is to know about foreign affairs that she may not already know, and she may never become president during McCain's term.

  • andrea082, how do you know Palin will learn and absorb all about foreign affairs for about 60 days? LOL.

And Obama? Just read his books and watch his 24+ debates and lots of interviews you can find on Youtube, Oh, the recent interview with O'reilly who you may love to watch, but I guess you don't care to do that.

  • And andrea082, What's funny now? McCamps are sooooooo afaid of putting Palin on any interviews. If she is such a qualified VP as you say, why wouldn't they let her take hard questions from reporters? Oh, "Press-Protection-Program"? Are you kidding ? hahahahaha. What a joke. McCamps are now fooling people. If you wanna be fooled by them, Be fooled. Bye.

  • ekfhd001, Palin has already been in interviews. You just haven't watched them apparently. She was on Glenn Beck's show earlier this summer (and it's on YouTube). Palin isn't working for reporters, she and McCain are going across America and speaking directly to the people about the issues they care about. There's plenty of time for press, but she is going to the people :) Then there will be the debates :)

  • "you may love to watch, but I guess you don't care to do that."

ekfhd001, excuse me? Why are you talking for me, and disrespecting me?

Palin has more than 4 months before possibly taking office as VP. I said that everyone who knows her well testified to her being a quick learner. I didn't say that I "know" she will, it's an assumption based on what people close to her have said. College semesters finish in less time than that. :)

  • "you may love to watch, but I guess you don't care to do that."

andrea082, if you're offended by that comment, excuse me. And....

    1. Glenn Beck interview was made before VP pick, and there were no hard questions about her ideology, foreign and domestic policies, social issues etc.

    2. Yeah, now she's doing stump speeches written by Bush's speechwriter directly to the people, while avoiding any serious questions, the answers of which American people have the right to know. Who's she?

  • ekfhd001, I can speak for myself that's why I don't need you doing it for me :)

Do you think the vice presidential debate is going to be filled with easy, soft questions?? They're only a few weeks away. You'll get to hear her answers :)

I love how you say she's avoiding serious questions, when you couldn't possibly know all the questions that she's been asked.

Obama has been asked many questions which he did not answer directly or avoided. Perhaps you give him special treatment though ;)

  • no, he strengthens it. And it shows where his real priorities are. Obama's choice was definitely more a governing choice than an elective choice. McCains choice was totally and completely an elective choice.

  • Qualifications are relative

GW Bush was as qualified as anyone, being a governor, having a dad who was prez, and bringing with him some of the most connected and "experienced" people to work in his admin

Yet, Bush has been a disaster to our country and the world. The US is stuck in a too costly quagmire in Iraq, increasing the national debt, and deficit, to record levels, all while oil costs skyrocket, the economy is tanking and the environmental crises grows

    Intention is everything, not exp.

  • yet with experience can be like GW Bush

    needless to say inexperienced Obama

using beautiful speech to govern the country ?

    I don;t think so

    maybe in Africa

  • hawardhsz:

    Are you racist?

It's sad to think that this election will be determined by people so intolerant of someone 'cause of their skin color, that they are willing to further embrace the right-wing which is not rational enough to have a civil RNC nor to solve problems that are crucial to be solved

McCain and Palin don't get it, and apparantly their supporters are stuck in the same Old Testament thought regime

I am not a strong Obama supporter, but he is way better than the alternative...

  • The poll is right, she is as qualified as Obama. The trouble is: McCain can't use his main argument against Obama anymore:-)
