you drive with the analog stick on the 360 controller not the D-Pad

This IS perhaps as close as one can get to real racing without actually being there on the track. The physics, weather effects and animation make this particular game a must-have over anything that the folks behind GT5 could ever muster up.

I'm referring to the particle physics of how the raindrops hit the windshield randomly and flow upwards in a realistic manner. Also, the mist on the road from the raindrops hitting the pavement.

Of course PGR is arcade as far as driving mechanics go, that's what the software designers created it to be. Yet, I should clarify that the overall visual experience does give one the since of actually being inside of a car, driving down a track or road.

c'est simplement le meilleur jeux de voiture que j'ai testé (en vue interieur sinon pas terrible),et vous pouvez remballer votre gt5 je n'ai jamais trouvé une once de realisme dans cette serie. le fait que les gens trouvent pgr4 arcade est due au fait que le jeu retranscrit instinctivement ce que l'on veut faire a l'ecran. certe les models physique sont simplifié mais on reste dans la simu et pour la simu pure y'a forza2

@paparoyxos This game is more arcade than arcade can get. Ok i've never played it but just seeing that car go this fast in the wet is bullshit. Also GT5 owns this game in all aspects. Maybe not in livery and body tuning but i don't know if it's possible in pgr. The only aspect that pgr has done MUCH better is the rain effects, aswell as the road and the windschield. They look really good and the GT5 effects are really bad... The visability is a bit to far in pgr though.

The PGR4 studio clames that they start with a realistic base and make it more unrealsitc to add the fun element. They calm it starts as realistic as Forza2 or GT5
