^^ LOL, when you put it like that... it does seem kind of weird that he'd "pick" Beethoven. But the song is just saying that his girlfriend spends way too much time thinking of Beethoven (which can serve as a metonym for all classical music, right?)... and he'd like to have a bit more of her attention... not that Beethoven was ever a great lover or anything. Lizst was a "great lover," but his name doesn't flow as well :p
