catfights and spotlights wasnt horrible at all even though it flopped sales wise it was a well thought out album with a lot of funky groovy rhythms that the ppl didnt like for some reason. sweet 7 was crap ill tell you that
Sugababes have always been a good group with cool songs and lyrics. It won't be the same now that Keisha's left!! Amelle was upset and distraught and felt she was being picked on by Keisha but she knew what Keisha was like, personality wise, Amelle shouldn't have joined the group or just ignored Keisha's 'alleged' arguments!!
Never the less, what's done is done, it's the songs that count. I hope the new line up continues with lyric's Sugababes are known for...
@maritta2504 HAHA! are you kidding me? "Catfight & Spotlights" was a major flop! the songs are Crappy with a bad choice of singles, Their new album " Sweet 7" was much better, their single "get sexy" almost going to reach number 1 at the UK chart, as for last time, they were growing success, between 2002 - 2007, although I like this song but I hate the album.
I know it was a major flop. I never heard the whole Album, only this song which I really liked.
I know that "Get sexy" was pretty successful but that doesn't make me like the song better. I still think that "Get sexy" is crap. It's just my personal opinion. For me "Sweet 7" ist the worst Album they have ever made.
@maritta2504 Well...."Electronic" Songs is what the band meant to be since 2002, but when they released their album "Change" after Mutya's departure, it look different, and I felt weird about it. I do believe that most people don't like their latest album "Sweet 7" Because it's materials are related to Americans, I think that's because their signed in a new American record company, Called "Roc-Nation" with the help from various singers (including Lady Gaga)
There's a sample in here that I recognise but can't for the life of me think of what song it is. I'm pretty sure its from a club tune from the late 90's. The sample is 8 seconds long and is the trumpetty bit in this video its between 20 seconds and 28 seconds. Can anyone please help?!?!
Stella, The trumpety bit is from the song by Ernie K Doe called 'here come the girls' which this track is based on. If you remember the Boots ads that had Ernie singing in it.
Yeah. The beggining is different. And that version is much, much better for me. The radio edit version sucks! I love this! Here come the girls! Waiting for CD single, and Catfights and Spotlights :*!!!
I like this version better, but I think it would be better if Heidi said 'Tonight we rule the world beware cause here come the girls' twice like the other one, they had another 'girls' on the end of each chorus like the other version, and they've messed up Keisha's ad-libs at the end D: Apart from that I love it:D It's got a much better opening and sound;)

@SimVidStudio
Because I don't like this kind of music. I really just hate that "electric-house"-kind of music....
For me it doesn't sound good.
In my opionion they used to be much, much, much better!!!! Since Chance I kind of didn't liked their music anymore.

Nice tune, however quite unoriginal.
I suppose its success will depend on the videoclip. I hope we won't be dissapionted :D

This song is not their best...they have done better songs already. So, to make this song as a No.1 they need a fantastic video!
