Mainly east end of Mtl. St-Leonard, RDP we also have a little Italy (where most pics and video were taken ). Most Italians in Montreal are trilingual: english, french and italian

I see your point Aemilia, but many Italians in Montreal have parents who came to Canada straight from Italy as recently as 30-40 years ago.  The fact that Italy beat France as well was huge in Quebec...had the French won, I guarentee you the French Canadians would've been in the street singing La Marseillaise....it's all about pride in your heritage

i agree 100 percent. im of italian decent, but i am 100% canadian. most of those people dont even speak italian, and have never been to italy anyway. cheering for italy is just the hip thing to do.

I don't remember seeing Materazzi headbutt anyone on the field. we did manage to beat the number 2 ranked Czech republic, Germany in their own back yard. not to mention we didn't allow an opposing team to score a goal on us, ten different Italian players contributed to the score sheet and Italian players we by far the most represesnted players in the world cup all star team and golden ball nominations. How did Greece do by the way?
