  • turn your throttle adjustments up on remote

  • the problem is the flywheel where the piston is connected to, there is supposed to be a aspring around that part. solution:take motor apart (starting with detaching flywheel) and see if there is a spring broke. i had same problem, my car wanted to drive away when i started it, and when i pressed brake, or stopped it from driving away, the motor shut off. other solution: try giving it some more fuel. or start it uppon a brick, so the wheels are free to spin during startup

  • my friend is having the same problem please does anyone have a fix ?

  • Your low speed needle is set to lean richen it a bit

  • choke is two high lower it

  • get a new clutch!!!!!! mine did the same.

  • not if this will still be any use to you still but i just got mine on Sunday and it did the same you need to read the instructions that came with it very carefully and set the screws correctly this can take some time to get it right for a good ride so don't rush it for any1 else that reads this then if you have the same problem then read the instructions or go on an rc website or rc nitro chat also make sure that everything is working properly and is connected.

  • might be leaned out too much

  • loosen the idle screw

  • the carb may have a blockage so that is wont let in enough fuel try pulling it off i had the exact same problem or try adjusting the idle speed screw

  • Get a new clutch =/

  • get a hotter glow plug

  • give it gas on your remote.it looks like it was taking off set your idle speed screw

  • you may need a hotter plug

  • your idle is too low....u need to make it about 1 or 1.5 mm open....

  • if its not the carb setup, check your clutch spring mine did that when the spring broke, and maybe check the glow plug i know it sounds stupid but 95% of the time its the plug, hope this helps dude.

    Matt.

  • Richen it then start it if it does it then start and rev it up

  • Well lots of gas means its rich but rich equals low idle. But this has a high idle and runs away which means its your clutch.

  • hey first off put the rc on a block or wood with the wheels moving freely than start it if the tire spin that means your clutches or spring is no good.thats y when u start it wants to take off cause your clutch inside the bell housing is messed up. well hope this helps u man laters!!

  • @RCSMAXX mine does this but ive just had a brand new clutch and spring fitted ?:(

  • @evo5mad hey could u have put the clutch backwards try puting them the other way and c if that helps it has to be the clutches cause it looks like it takes off hmm....

  • LSN to rich. Try richening it out with quarter turns

  • to make it leaner

  • if the problem was the glow plug, the engine wouldnt start at all but in your case it is starting. looks like there is too much smoke comming out for start off. you need to tune your low speed needle clockwise slowly

  • clutch is bad, i can see it wanting to pull at low speed, spring on the 2 clutch shoes is broken inside the bell housing at the end of the engine shaft behind the main drive gear

  • No gas Look in the fuel no gas !!

  • @panoulis98 yes there is what are you retarted. you can see it moving when he goes to start it

  • Is it tuned

  • Then take the video off smartass.

  • Number 1, the car starts and you can plainly see smoke which = a rich engine. Another thing is it also looks cold where ever you are. Don't turn the car on or the radio, manually turn the throttle until it's 1/4th the way open, basically in idle position. Let it warm up for about 2-5mins and you should be fine, I had that same problem with that exact same car when I 1st got it, if that don't work, give me a shout.

  • @SavageSSPr0 3 years ago read before comment...

  • Also make the richness knob flush to the edge

  • U should loo at clutch fuel lines glow plug glow plug starter and flooded engine. Use after run oil. change air filter

  • not tuned properly mate

  • ok here is what to do u will need to check ur high speed needle it should be a quarter turn then on your remote put your throttle trim fully up. once the car starts put the throttle trim at 0 and rev your engine. keep reving it until u have used about half a tank. now cut the engine and start here up it should work. if not message me u may have serious problems

  • You need to richen out your low end a it

Try and find me NITRONUTTERS4 for quality RC videos

  • richen up lsn and lean out hsn a bit

  • glow plug

  • Same problem. Thanks to the help of people below it turned out to be the glow plug. Last thing I'd expect from a brand new car. Thanks guys.

  • Hey your lsn is a bit rich also your hsn is to lean richen out and try agian

  • glowplug

  • GLOW PLUG!!!

    GLOW PLUG!!!

    GLOW PLUG!!!

  • xd. i know you posted this for 3 years a but but i think your clucth was damaged because i had the exactly the same problem :) 3years late answer.... better late than never

  • Once it's started slightly pull the trigger on the transmiter. This will higher the revs and let the fuel ignite. Then take glow starter out and of you go. Make sure it is fully tune though :)

  • give it gas with the glow ignitor on

  • just take the air filter off look in to the carb and turn the idle screw untill there is about 1 to 2 mm gap then it should sart without having to put any throttel on

  • get ur transmitter and turn the speed abit higher

  • im thinkin the fuel is to rich

  • PLEASE HELP my rc car wont start at all.It sounds like it is catching the fuel and about to start but it will not start at all. Starts for about a milisecond but does not idle what so ever. Any ideas??

  • Set the throttle on your remote control.

  • broken clutch shoes

  • If it's a new engine this is normal, just keep trying and it'll work, my car, I've had for years and it still does that sometimes

  • Your carb might not be open enough, make sure you have you have it open 1-2 millimeters then try starting it.

  • idle speed needs to be set right. let more gas into ur engine. Check ur air filter

  • the idle speed

  • shift the clutch

  • My had the same prob but when it strts you have to hurry up and throttle it and it will work.

  • you can lean you hispeed

  • is the engine runned in enough?

  • Enemy RC-XD in your area?

  • @kamilfreeman you've been playing to much black ops lol

  • make your idle speed 1mm, or prime the engine. mine done the same

  • by the carb is 2 screws the botum one is for the richnis io the fule if you turn it fuley tight it will last much longer !!!!!!

  • make it warmer and give a little bit gas when you start it up

  • For anyone having this problem try searching you tube for "How to tune a nitro Rc car". I prefer the videos by squirrelod. This is just a matter of tuning your engine by adjusting the small screws that can be found all around your cars nitro engine. However do not adjust them if you do not know what they do. If you are too retarded to take the time to learn how to tune and want someone else to do all the work for you well this sport is not for you so piss off.

  • @themcdvideo it seems some people want to drive nitro cars and dont want to tune them up why they buy them? consumer impulse? maybe they should go electrics

  • @CaptCamping Definitely right it is just an impulse. It isn't even hard to tune them though, Just like anything, you learn how to do it real quick if you are not afraid of trial and error. .

  • try priming the engine or u need a new glow plug

  • @bullsjewells24

<_< you dont have a nitro car do you...it needs the plug to start so its not the glow plug and if he didnt prime the engine no fuel would get to the carb. so it wouldnt start...dumbass it needs tuned

  • @00011theman no i have three rc cars (jato, t-maxx, revo) i said maybe get a new glow plug because a engine will start and cut out if it has a bad glow plug ive done it before. and also he may have not primed the engine enough to the point where it just cuts out after starting. check yourself.

  • @bullsjewells24 maybe the primeing thing but noway its the glow plug because it would never stay hot enough to light nitro fuel if it was bad

  • my rc nitro warhead is brand new and it does this ive only got it going once please help me!

  • your clutch is boken

it stalls becaus you hold it down

  • If you continue pulling the fuel will slowly be pulled into the line. Noticed how the second time it started for a bit longer?

  • make sure youve primed the engine, put your finger over exhaust then pull the pull start until fuel just reaches the engine. also make sure your throtlle settings are correct, your carb may not be open enough(1-1.5mm). if thats all fine you should turn the high speed needle clockwise to get more fuel in.

    hopes this helps.

ps. just as it sounds as though it will cut off, give it a few revs.

  • What you should do is rev the engine and if you didnt alredy prime the eingine

  • try to adjust the idle while your truck is still on and while the truck is still on, pull the throttle to let some air into the engine

  • im assuming your glow igniter is fully charged if so check your idle needle to make sure it is gettin air mixture ,make sure your glow plug is working and check hsn check all fuel lines are connected with no leak

  • how do i fix mine i get it to run but wen i take the igniter out it cuts out

  • @crazzyrcboy lean out ur lsn

  • @crazzyrcboy and its runing to rich on ur hsn and make sure ur carb is open at 1mm

  • @crazzyrcboy which car do u have? ive had the same problem on me pulse 4.6 & i solved it like this : start the engine , take the car up that the wheels can spin free, hit the gas a few times & then it should work. on my pulse it helped.

  • me to

  • u clutch is stuck open as its trying to drive off or turn ur throttle drim down and ur tick over screw up

  • the engine is too rich.......

  • put a littel throttel on and gradualy makee it go faster it happens to me

  • i think you are running the engine too lean

  • try giving the car a little bit of gas then while doing that try tuning it

  • Just look at the exhaust, it runs rich as fuck for the 2-3 seconds that this guy has it going. Not lean which would suggest some kind of air leak. what the bollocks!!!! lol

  • @themcdvideo Wrong the reasom more smoke is coming out is because he has the carb open too much which makes it pull away!

  • @storeyno3 YOU ARE COMPLETELY RETARDED. LOOK RIGHT BELOW THIS COMMENT AND READ MY PREVIOUS COMMENT. THEN SHUT YOUR RETARDED FUCKING MOUTH. GOOD DAY DUMB KID.

  • @themcdvideo Well basically the idle is to high retard! and if no blue smoke comes out it is going to run rich, STUDY IT DIP STICK!

  • @storeyno3 again thank you for copying and pasting my exact comment twice now retard. You are definitely the stupidest mother fucker I have ever seen. Too dumb in fact to read more than one comment. I bet you do not even own an RC. Nice videos by the way, little magic fagot. What are you like 5. Yeah i used to think magic was real when I was your age too. Don't bother posting back as I will not waste my time with you any longer. Good day.

  • @themcdvideo chill the fuck out jeez.......... and dont you go all off on me

  • @themcdvideo actually i have a nitro can and im 17, you are really sad lol!

  • @storeyno3 I now feel bad that I have been making fun of a little retarded kid. Did you put a nitro engine on a can as you said you have a "nitro can". Thanks for responding back even if it did only take you almost 2 months it is o.k. little retard.

  • For anyone coming across this video because their car is doing the same thing, this is a simple lack of know how when it comes to tuning. Your carburetor is too far open and is taking in too much fuel when idling. Pull off your air filter and look down inside of your carburetor adjusting your idle screw until the gap down inside is smaller than what you originally saw. Replace the air filter and try starting again. You can tell this is the problem because his car trys to run away from him.

  • check the motor for a air leek in it..........my revo 2.5 had one

  • Your controller may need to adjust the throlle setting or mess with the carb. i set mine to high end 1 1/2 and low to 3 turns

  • yeaa busch got the same problem ayye i hold the pull start cord and it works but when i let it go it screws up >o< SHIT MUCH?

  • flood the carb

  • get a desent c=rc car

  • try pressing the throttle when u pull it ( get friend to help)

  • the car is runing rich turn lsn buy 1/8th turns until improvement

  • U POSTERD TO U KNOW

  • y r peopel still posting? this was over 2 years ago now

  • its ur clutch. its bad. u have to change the clutch, as u can see the wheels go around when u start.. the clutch are stuck or its to bad . buy a new change then u can use it ! and remember to tune it again man. that car is not rigth tuned!

  • tn embrayage est HS

  • ruinned engine

  • @kismo94 umm not really ya noob

  • @berniball yes really, he hasnt broken it in and there for it has low compression, when it is off it has just the right amount of coolness in it to start but when it runs it gets hot and expands gving it low compression and so cuts out

  • try to accel the car when its starts

  • did you break the engine in

  • there is nothing wrong my rc does the same thing keep pulling it it ill start

  • try adjusting the gold knob to let inmore fuel

  • Your idle screw needs to be reset. use the Throttle control on your radio, and play with that, also the engine sounds very lean. You can also remove the filter and check the idle screw from there.

  • ITS TOO LEAN ADJUST THE IDLE SCEW UNTIL YOUR ENGINE IS NOT CUTING OUT ANYMORE

  • its too lean...everything else people said is pretty much wrong

  • adjust your idle scew mine did the same thing

  • you definetly should chek your low speed nedle

  • you must give gas

  • I see you hold the car so it cant move.. Put it on something so the weels go free and try again. Change idle thingy also :D

  • can u tell me what is this pink thing joined to the engine :)

  • @matiwrc14

That Pink thing is called "The Glow Plug igniter"

  • go prime the car

do ur finger on the exaust

and pull a couple of times until u see the fuel in the engine come

  • try ajusting the throttle trim

  • not getting enough nitro to the carb

  • hi mate sounds like you clutch shoes are worn or the sring has snapped it will cost no more than £15.00 posted online

  • my kyosho nitro bugy did the same and the problem was the clutch

  • try giving it some gas my exceed (piece of $h**) did the same thing I had to have a friend give it a little gas and keep hitting it until it warmed up

  • atust the card

  • do rc gas car need battery? or just gas?

  • @Pharmit24 both batterys for reciever in the car and transmitter and fuel for the engine

  • @nokiamel ok...i think im gonna buy an eletric rc car...and what is brushless and brush difference?

  • @Pharmit24 brushless is faster and sucks up the battery faster

  • @Pharmit24 the need nitro fuel and aa batt's mate and alot of looking after -_-

  • tune up time!

  • I think the car just doesn't like you...

  • just turn your low speed nedle counter clockwise with 45 degrees a time

    til its okay

  • clutch shoes and spring

  • The car is trying to moove, if wheels are free to move the engine will run. So check your clutch shoes and clutch spring. You will be back again!

    ;-)

  • looks like your running too lean on your low end needle richen that and you should be fine!!

  • no no ! ive got a mt2 too and i just had to turn up the idle a bit

    JUST A BIT !

  • make shoure the carberator is on

  • @dadeyo8 its always on stupid

  • try take the car up and try start it if it dosen't work i do not have idea...

  • set throttle trim good so it dont drive away when u dont puul the gas

and maybe the car doesnt gets fuel or to much fuel

  • ok ill tell u this happened to me and it was my clutch take it apart and clean or replace the parts

  • The motor is getting to much petrol or no petrol

  • :o i had the exact same problem so i took mine to the hobbie shop and it is there right now getting fixed. yay

  • try changing the glow plug or take it to a hobby shop. i have 2 pull start and 11 gas starter.or put a diffrent engine on it

  • open a lil bit the fuel valve of carburetor..... around 1/4 and then test

  • thanks helped me to

  • @TheRideshop91 I WORK IN A HOBBY STORE REPAIR R/C ALL DAY 1. CHANGE TO COLD PLUG. 2 RETUNE TO STOCK SETTINGS LOWER THE IDLE 1/4 TURN OUT. 3 RITCHEN UP LOW END. SETTING SHOULD BE -HIGH END FLUSH W/ CARB- LOW END 1/2 TURN IN TO LEAN IT OUT FINAL STEP- APPLY BRAKES BRING IDLE DOWN TILL CAR DIES, THEN BACK OUT 1/4 TURN.4 SMOOTH IDLE RETURNED PROBLEM FIXED

  • i have the same problem with my x-cellerator

  • you nead to get it tuned for go to a shop and it will run really well

  • open the caarberetter valve a bit more :)

  • is that from nitro rcx

  • change the glow plug they go bad or put your high and low settings back to factory settings then go from their if it dies lots of smoke to rich lean buy turning low needle in quator turn at a time little motors need little adjustments

  • idle issue

  • its either the throttle or the high end fuel

  • dont forget to also check for air leaks

  • Hi mate.. with rc engines the leaner you run them the faster they go. you can adjust the high speed needle and/or low/idle speed needle. in your case its much to lean on low speed as it revs high on idle then cuts out... try turning your low speed needle back inn... you have to find a good balance between rich and lean in order to give you good life on the engine and performance.. Smoke is good... when using the truck you should see blue smoke when accelerating...

  • low speed needle lean it out

  • put the idle screw in all the way and turn it 2 full turns and a half

  • yes that would be idle isues turn the idle up make sure there is fuel going in the carb. if not if you are not getting fuel into the engine without giving it any throttle it will die

  • turn idle needle down mine did the same when i got it

  • check feul line, then could possibly be becuase of cold start or revs are too high/ running to lean

  • buy a new one

  • haha

  • lmfao

  • U have the same car as me and mine is strongly affected by temperature. If its cold u may need to heat the engine block up first, thats what i do and it works fine.

  • When the the car takes off when you get engine going it is because u have very lean low speed needle or improperly set idle needle as for the cutting out may also be cua of very lean low speed needle or idle is to slow

  • when this happens on my motorbikes its generally running too lean. when you start it, it gets a lot of fuel where
