Marco actually sings pretty high in his band Tarot. Look up Wings of Darkness, it's from his earlier glam metal days, LOL.

He sings pretty high in Phantom of the Opera as well. Check out the End of an Era version.

Personally, I think NW would have been better off with just him as a vocalist rather than having Anette try to fill Tarja's role.

I like this song better than Amaranth. To me, Amaranth is just a commercialized pop metal song.
