awesome car,sure wish i had it now,i remember it got 5 m.p.g on the bayshore fwy ,
but gas was cheap,so who cared!!! ran cheater slicks on it in daly city calif.
The only thing I don't like about this car is the front end ride height. If it were my car, the back end would be higher than the front....just my opinion.
@DeAdiSSu3 This is built as a tribute to the Max Wedge super stockers. they raised the torsion bars in the front for weight distribution. it is a period correct racing technique they used in the old days!
@moparXdarren Ohh haha I didn't know that, thanks for the info. It doesn't seems like it would change much weight-wise, it seems like it would actually increase drag but I could be wrong. It still looks cool as fuck tho, very nice car. Sounds great too
@DeAdiSSu3 doesn't change the weight, just the distribution of it. the traction was very poor back then so they had to use any trick they could to hook up.
