i'm sure you can apply the tentacles and to the tsunami but i think it's deeper. while reading the translations up until the last scene, i interpreted it more of *we* (humans) are symbolized as the tentacled monster (didnt the guy in the vid turn into the monster or create it?) hurting ourselves/others (symbol: raping) and in the end, he dies. i feel it ties in w/the lyrics and the band's faces, how it alternates b/t their "monster" face and the face w/o the monster.

This song/video is to express the japanese feeling's about the tsunami and earthquake and all that has happened. They even said in an interview, this is how they feel being raped by an unstoppable force. Wich would explain the tentacles and stuff.

I love the direction where Dir en Grey is headed and looking forward to their new album on August 2nd, but I don't feel for this song. I love screaming too and it was great, just the instrumental idk every time I'm impatient and listen to a preview of a new song, it totally ruins it.
