@cyssoK I wasn't able to try it on my Windows Phone, but it should be similar. You could always try the free trial to see if it's worth purchasing.

@cyssoK Why shouldn't it? I just played it om my HTC HD2 (running on Windows Phone 7), and it looks like the same as this. I don't have the control problems here shown in the video. However I can only jump up making the game quite useless for me. But on a phone where everything works, it's the same on WP7 as on iOS.

@phototristan hmm, what are you confused about? There's only one Sonic 4, which is the newest. If you want to play the classic titles, some of those are available as well.

@phototristan It depends if you've ever played the original Sonic games or not. The previous titles are classics from years ago. Sonic 4 is a revival of the series. If you've played the others on Sega Genesis/emulators, I'd go with S4. Otherwise, you may want to check them all out :)

Also your a retard if believe the bad reviews of the game. Also I think you mean the iphone/e3 build version is being hammered in reviews. At least the console versions aren't the slow ass e3 build! :)

@chaosmasterism GameSpot (videogamesDOTcom) gave it a 6.5 for PS3 and 360, that's pretty bad IMO. I'm glad IGN gave it a higher score, but I expected a 9 across the board. Many people have been waiting for this revival and they obviously didn't get it completely right. I love the classic style of Sonic games, so I'm disappointed to see it not getting a good review from one of the major sites.

They should create an exclusive game for ps3 with superior graphics and no graphics like this shit ..

there is nothing wrong with the control scheme. you are just using the directional control as an analogue. sliding your finger across. use the control like a d-pad. you know like a sega megadrive pad?

Wow. Dude, I just bought the game.

Surprisingly good,

although.. Think of it as Sonic Rush with those familiar 16 bit Sonic sound effects, and badniks.

You'd expect sonic 4 to expand on Sonic 3's AWESOME power-up methods, with the electric bubble, water, etc, which is my biggest negative, AFTER the screwed up game physics.

All in all it's a good game, just not a completely faithfull sequal! Well, I don't think xP

@KatamariParadox Maybe you're better with touchscreen controls than I am. But I don't think the controls are as good as other games or as good as they should be. I've seen some complaints in the app store comments too, so I can't be the only one. I'd like to have an option for a floating stick (where the stick shows up wherever you put your thumb down). Good game though..

@SmartKeitai I think in general, games that require physical buttons normally just don't work when ported to the iPhone. That didn't stop me from buying it, though. I'm such a Sonic nut. :P
