@Jaskatzu Well its depends do you wanna be able to defend urself or do you wanna be stealthy and all that? Both Amnesia and Pernumbra are good games. Pernumbra you can attack dogs with pickaxes but on Amnesia you can't really defend yourself. I personally think that Amnesia is more scary due to the fact that you can fight back.
