Makes me want to gather up all my flutes jump on a horse and ride off across the desert dodging cacti, build an adobe hut and play my flutes from daybreak to dark everyday for the rest of my life!!!!!!!!!!
This song means the world to me....One of my best friends who passed on introduced me to this classic that will always have a special place in my heart...You will always be loved and missed Jeff....I know your smiling down on us, and probably raisin a little hell up there aren't ya??? I love you Jeff...Miss you every day
WELL, I STILL PLAYED THE SONG ON THE JUKEBOX (LOL) BUT I ALSO WORE OUT THE ALBUM AT HOME TOO...TMTB WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES....TIMELESS...
Clay Cook from The Zac Brown Band has certainly inherited his vocal talents from Uncle Doug, and probably influenced by Toy and Tommy in some of his guitar skills! MTB in the Hall of Fame now!
im 22 and grew up to this song thanks to my dad. it doesnt get much better than this. There will always be a certain midnight drive that only suits this song.
old black gangsta from da 70's who roamed the women & da world this song took me anywhere i wanted 2 go in a style dat i never feared da world MTB stay 4 ever
Anybody live in ohio who's 14-18 wanna start a band? Seriously, i'm inspired by this,it's awesome! I LOVE the doors, zeppelin, the beatles, nirvana, floyd, the foo fighters, them crooked vultures, Neil Young, Traffic, Greatful Dead, Uhria Heep, Glass Harp, CCR, any of the classics and some new stuff. But really, anybody wanna start a band doin covers and originals?
I wish my nostalgic memories of cruising in my car in high school were brought back by awesome songs like this... unfortunately i grew up with with p diddy and nelly.
@cct101 haha one of the advantages of being old, timeless music I grew up during the 70's and AM radio. Still have (and play) a massive collection of vinyl and this album is one of them.
The boys opened with this one last weekend at the River Road Ice House, New Braunfels. They totally jammed out with it! Their current flutist/saxophonist/keyboardist/singer gave his all!!
I was 12 years old when this came out! I used to listen to my Searching For A Rainbow 8 track on repeat all the time!!! My 20 year old son just said to me, " I never heard of these guys untill you told me about them." LOL I said, "thats right, so you now know they must be badass!"

Looked all over for this years ago and found nothing. Loved this song and the album. Bought it in 79', graduated HS that year and listened to it all the time going on road trips to CO in my Chevette. Thanks!
They have soooo many great songs, but this particular song touches me incredibly. I wish I could Run Like the Wind, and never look back!! This one, no doubt is my absolute favorite of theirs!!!
You'll never hear another band that could come close to these guys ever again. A class act.
