@centaure974 Since you are using original HP cartridges, your ink levels will remain low. However, this will not 'lock' your printer up and cause you to stop printing. Your printer will 'warn' you that you are printing on low level ink cartridges.
@lisaann7451 We haven't made a video (yet) on how to remove your original chips and install it onto our CIS system. However, we did make a video on how to remove the chips on a HP 8000, HP 8500 that we recently posted up. You would have to remove the chips in a similar way and attach it onto the system with either super glue or double-sided tape (which we recommend over the other). Then route the tubing as shown in the video and you should be good to go!
The printer would display 'low ink' reminder and I would have to press 'OK' in order to print and bypass the message. Other than that, it would print and not lock up the printer. Hope this helps!
Do we lost the ink level forever or will we recover the ink level if we put original cartridges?

Do the 920xl need chip reset?
stogiask 1 year ago
@stogiask I don't believe you have to reset them. You can try refilling it yourself and test it out.

When you put on the original HP chips do you have to ever reset the chips? If so, how do you reset them?
