Snap, John. You don't let up. Man, thanks for sharing these truths. 

To be honest, it is a pretty frightening concept...what if they just freak out when they see what you are and how you've hidden it? That created illusion may also be true of those I share myself with, but that doesn't mean they are ready or willing to acknowledge it! It might make them even more defensive and cause them to cast me out in hopes of maintaining their masquerade... Just one fear I guess I associate with this.
