Speak for your self, I hate playing jazz I love classical. And hey some might hate playing jazz and classical but love faster beats. So you can't say all just because that instrument is famous for a certain thing. So don't expect everybody to be the same to their own.

  • relax a little more, you don't feel the music

  • i need you for real please give me your details please and thanks

    God Bless Man

  • hey start playing jazz man your ready and youll like it alot i know you will all sax players even me love playing jazz

  • That song title is hilarious.

  • elevator music

  • @franchizethree i went up the elevator at my dads work and pulled out my iphone and played this song

  • I liked this. Keep on playing. Don't let anyone tell you are not good enough. You have talent.. just let it shine. don't be afraid to hold back. God bless you.:)

  • Sounds a lot like a soprano sax at the start :o

Interesting sound for alto, what setup are you using?

  • i'm looking for this song on sax!! where i can find it on mp3?

  • AWSUM DUDE :)

  • This backing track is available for download at socialsax com

  • His ligiture looks cheap, if he had a rubber or leather one, the sound ould be better.

  • slow down man...

  • This video was killing me softly

  • Bravo! Good playing!

Can you send me that minu for alto sax playing also?

  • hey where did you buy this music and play aloong cd?

plzz i need to do a talent and i need to get it asap

  • What setup u use?

    Sax?, Mouthpiece?, Reed? Ect....

  • cara, n tá batendo o tom com o playback

  • That part where you start tonguing more..It seems to me you should be using more tongue to seperate the notes to changeit up a little ...

  • Is he killing you softly without any emotion in his talent? XD

  • try not to just play the notes, but also put in a lot of expression in songs, thats what make songs good, not notes.

  • Poor Song. :( This song is supposed to be full of emotion.

It's also supposed to be in tune : /

  • try playing with some life!

  • He should tour with Wing!

  • i cringe in pain from my ears. the lack of emotion and dynamics saddens me

  • @JohnSusProductions Asians don't have emotions.

    jk

    trollface.jpg

  • I agree, very good but show some love in that,

feel the song don't just play it

  • not bad..but no emotions..

  • Great workman, you're making that voice that you love most about the many sounds of the sax, keep it up and don't you ever listen to people putting you down. Be proud and write your complete name cuz' your country people will be proud of you if others failed to hear you (no wonder the Asian don't let foreigners into their music ind. because of the haters I guess).

  • dont listen to the haterz that rocked!

  • I just wanna say. "More air". It feels a little lacking of it. The tone will shine if you just play with some more air, and most tuning issues will go away.

  • boring. you should AT LEAST throw in a flattened/sharpened note. and play "mini-fillers" between the spaces. also, legato dude. this is WAYY too stick, and sticatto. im sorry, you seem talented, but not on this performance...

  • Sexey! You totally look like me... and playing is a little nervous i guess... Overall Good job! :D Asians R da beast!

  • wonderful

  • so relaxin bro!!....YEEEEEAH!!!

    Bless

  • good

  • out of tune pull out

  • Do you have the music piece?

  • hm, are you tongue-ing?

  • you would sound better if you loosened up on higher note. but bad keep practicing

  • hey GREAT job! is it possible u could get me the sheet music for this song? i would really appreciate it!

  • hey bro, wats da notes?..

  • dude you have nooo control on pitch

  • keep it up at least ur doing something. good job man

  • O, My Lady GaGA! No one will sound good in the very beginning. If he plays still like this after 10000 hours of practice, then it is really a great problem.I listen carefully, He is still a beginner.I could accept my soprano tone only after several thousands of practice.Just like a football player, runner, you need a very long time to build up your muscle and physical memory

  • why do u play boring songs like this

play some jazz or some funk

  • don't be afraid to blow

  • ASIANS FTW!!!

  • slur a little bit dude make it more smooth

  • Asians are so smart and multi-talented

  • cheesy

  • i agree with your higher octave. its much more fitting for this song on an alto.

  • sounds a little bit like a trumpet

  • How long Do I need to wait for playing like you do? I'd like to play sax but I dont know anything, is it hard to play ?

  • @vbManu no waiting, working. you could probably get to this level in a few years if you worked hard with a good teacher

  • where did you learn to play like that ?

  • forget all these haters....i liked it!!!

  • nice play...u are good

  • your sound in the higher octave is not good.

    You should practise this.

  • And you should practice your spelling.

  • @NHCee sry i can't speak your language so good

    English is a shit language

  • try to get better tune and get a mouthpiece that fits you, it sounds like u are struggling to get tunes. and plz not so mouch tounge :)

  • u r flat as a $2 door nail!!! push in alot, use verbrato, n try not 2 tounge so heavily!! i also think u mite need a stronger reed.. i play on a 5 vandorian... also try not 2 play it exactly how the lady sings the song... make your sax tlk 2 the audience, make them feel the emotion u feel

  • Face...palm.

  • oye me puedes pasar la partitura?

  • If you don't want to improvise, then don't play sax.

  • l2tonguemoar

  • sehr gut mein schatz!

  • Tune before you play and try not to be so boring.. throw in some dynamic changes, go from legato to marcatto or something.. but very good.

  • @EvilGerbilBbabeh The tuning issue starts at A2, which is the octave pip switch, so it makes sense that this might be a sticking point. It sounds like this would come down to air support.

  • @EvilGerbilBbabeh he's asian he knows what he's doing

  • @EvilGerbilBbabeh How the hell do you tune a sax? haha

  • @klasse2bub

shut the fuck up stupid jk

  • @klasse2bub

The way you tune the saxophone is by moving the mouthpiece further on or off the neck.

You can tune the saxophone with your keyboard. in that case, the B on the sax corresponds to the D on the piano.

  • YE ASIANS RULE!!

  • Its sound a bit off in some way hmm :S

  • hmm, i hear it too, i thinks its his reed...idk, but its pretty good anyway.

  • @maichai13

    Yeah true x

  • its ok but u are to focusd on you'r scheet..

try to play the song with ur hart!

  • LOL AT YOU BIIIITCH!!!!!

  • can some one help me get the music sheet for this? Btw awesome sound im in 9th grade and playing songs like this is the reason i continue to play ( going on 4th year)

  • that sounded awesome! although i dont play the alto sax myself.... i play the bass clarinet lolz but to me that sounded awesome!

  • were do u get this music online?

  • play with more emotion and confidence man u did at parts just keep it consistant through out the song

  • I'm an 8th grader, 1st chair alto, but I think you needa work on some stuff. :/ not to be mean but just to make you a better player.

    -Tongue the notes more

    -Pull up your neck strap

    -Tune before you play

-And I think it would be less uncomfortable to sit than to stand. But then again, Standing works your diaphragm more.

Besides those minor things, Your sound is amazing! Keep up the good work (:

  • I agree with the next strap and the sitting instead of standing suggestion it's very hard for me to reach the notes when my sax is low being as that i have very small arms :P

  • I am an 8th grader 1st chair alto too! and yeah it sounds like this guy is trying to use his breath to tounge.

  • ya this dude sucks

  • It amazes me its always those without anything on here that deem it their job to give advice and comment on others skill.... show your vids then come back

  • tongue your notes please!!

it sounds like your sharp too!!

  • sounds like you are stopping the notes by stopping your air, not using your tongue.

  • tongue...?

  • yes tongue. the most important part of playing any wind instrument is to tongue. you litteraly say ta, da, la, na ,or ha for the different articulations. his articulation each of the things above are a combination between the tongue and the diaphram stopping the air flow. ta being the tongue mostly while ha being the diaphram mostly.

  • yes! altos sax`s are the best!

do u know where i can get the sheet music for this?

  • your neck strap is wayyyy too low.

looks uncomfortable to just watch u play like that :[

  • that was not wat were the notes to that song

  • pretty good tighten ur ambesure and tounge ur articulations but over all really good

  • he is good

  • TONGUE, and work on tone.

  • Hi... Thanks a lot for your response!!!.. Tell me, what kind of sax you have? It`s a Yamaha?? or other mark?.

I play the sax, and use 2,5 reed, Vandoren or Rico.. Obvius I prefer Vandoren Java.

I have a Selmer C Mouthpiece. That all!!! jeje.. well You have a friend In Argentina, now.. if you want to comment, to know something, share music, sax, etc.. just write...

    byee. Jorge.

  • nice man. bad tone though. tighten ur ambosher (dont know how to spell tht) and loosen ur throat. wht kind of sax is tht? btw put ur lig the other way. its much better for the sax tone.

  • youre like huffing your notes

instead of tonqueing i noticed like hu hu huu

instead of ta ta taa, and tone could be

a little better, but i thought it was really good

    overall.

  • this kid is really good

  • Hi!! tell me.. what saxophone do you plaY?.. and what mouthpiece and reed??

    good!..

  • its an alto sax and it need to be like a kinda medium mouthpiece with a ligurature of course also if ur a beginner a size 2 on a reed would be good if u think can handle it try a 2 and a half i think

  • terrible tone

  • Try and learn the peice without the music. You will then be able to put more feeling into it. I personally think its to fast. I also think you should put the strap were YOU feel most comfortable. two tighter srpa will prevent you moving the sax at all.

  • 5 *****

  • I think this guy is extremely sexy and a great saxophonist. The Saxophone Prodigy fellow has a serious self problem.

  • Comment removed

  • Listen douche bag some of us have a life and don't sit around masterbating to ourselfs and our saxophone in the mirror.

Keep your Prodigy mouth shut and give the kid props.

Just cuz you have self esteem issues and feel the need to insult people you've never met, doesn't give you any right to make a talented kid like this feel horrible.

so continue blowing on your sax secretly wishing it was another mans penis and fuk off

  • dude relax man!.... cant you see he is a beginner.... oh and you step away from the beginner zone playing pieces like this.. thats how you get better.

  • Pull the strap up, you are bending your neck down to reach the mouthpiece, but nice job overall.

  • Frankysnot shut ur as2 use a beech as if u can play duh damn sax put duh damn man dong u weesh u cuduh play lyk dat jus hattin on duh fleeekeeen man ,..useless peece of trash its gargabe n ur as2 had duh time to watch it iz nothing u had to do wif ur damn life..disgustin worthless peece uh jonk

  • can you give me the title of this book please?

  • tune it and be more confident on what your playing it'll give it a more full sound

  • tune your alto and be more confident on what your playing your not giving it the nice full sound it needs

  • please could you send me the notes please, like keanisawesome, i am 12 and i only started playing in september and the only popular song i know is infinity so please could you send me the notes, cheers jamie

  • I LIKE THAT SONG GOOD WORK

    FROM JAPAN

  • good job!

  • Can u send me notes, im 12 and i really wanna learn it, check my channel, i dont even have a video from me and i wanna start a video with a song like that.

  • oh wow this is amazing!!!

  • i liked it :)

  • good work - keep it up... i liked reading the comments from experienced sax players but not the callous criticism from others, give the guy a chance.... we all started bad and some got better.... this guy is great - and will out many many of us as time goes on.

  • Hey FrankySnot why don't you shut up. This guy has talent and his phrasing wasn't that bad. Sure he's a little sharp and timid at times....but Jesus Christ! Try to give him a little constructive criticism..

  • U did a good job, can I have the notes pleeeaaazzz.

    TY

  • Hey bud, I see and hear a lot of potential in your playing. You are playing timid and you need to learn the lesson most young sax players eventually learn as they grow. Playing saxophone is mostly about confidence. If you really believe in your playing and sound, you have to project that in your tone. The sax is very hard to sound great on since it is the closest instrument to the human voice. When you are scared or nervous, your sound will come out that way. remember to be confident.

  • phrasing could use some work (tongue wise) try bending the notes and putting some of your own interpretation into it. Make it your own. also work on your tone. long tones are great. keep playing!

  • Your either a little sharp or flat. but great job! what kind mic do you have

  • this is a microphone from DENON. it was a microphone bundled with a hifi set.

  • @gremlinkiller95

Very sharp, but great job either way. Just loosen up your embouchure more

  • Hello!! Can you give me the notes, please!!

  • dude really good but make your tone a bit stronger

  • sounds like your not tonguing the notes, just using bursts of air (listen to the phrase at 1:20)

anyway ive been playing 8 years, it was good, seems to be like you need just get some more breath support and better tonguing and you'd sound a lot better...pull up your neckstrap so your not hunched over and use your diaphragm, based on what i hear itd do a great deal and its not a big adjustment. other than that it was good, bright sound, you should get into some bebop stuff that shits fun

  • good...really good.

  • Do you have sheet music for this song?

    pleeeease :D

  • dayyyyyyyun ur figgen gud

  • from an experienced instrumentalist i think this is pretty damn good.

  • Lol man i don't play or nothing but it sounds decent enough to me =D

    And practice makes perfect anyway.

  • i think that mic makes you sound so light and tinny...

  • makes me sleepy

  • haha me too also this is really good

  • Keep it up, keep practicing dude :D. Real musicians would not discourage you

  • You sound so good!! 5

  • wow i wanna learn to play this song :P

  • Dude you play like your milking an Elk. Your tonguing is way off. You need allot more practice before you post this unmusical nonsense. Your sound is weak and irritating.

  • he was actually playing it quite well

  • Wait, wait there's actuall standards to stuff your allowed to post on Youtube?!

    OH WAIT THERE ISN'T BWHAHAHAH

  • this is amazing man post some more!!

  • dont juse your breath to tonated the notes juse your thunge

  • It's beautifull!

Is it possible to email me the sheet music?

    I love the song!

  • nice~

Stronger tounging on the "ki-ling-me-sof-lyyy-wi-th-his- song " should be better.

    good job man!

  • You could raise your neckstrap up a bit. It looks like you're supporting your instrument with your hands, not your neck. But nice playing. :D What kind of sax and mouthpiece do you have? :O

  • its an alto sax

  • Comment removed

  • Also, raise that neckstrap up a little bit...

  • Really great job man! Keep it going!
