  • yes, but, mr narrator, what is the film actually about?

  • Good Lord what a movie. Just stunned me beyond belief! Very powerful in showing what democracy and freedom of speech really means.

  • If i were a teen in 1939 I would've been a huge James Stewart fan. :)

Jean Arthur is the cutest thing ever

  • i ´v e just watched this movie. it was a great one, but maybe it could have been a bit less romantic... i mean he was too naive and wooden in the beggining.

the defending speech scene was tremendously great

  • Most PATRIOTIC movie, EVER! :)

  • Great movie.

  • The corruption of that era, as evidenced in this film, was nothing compared to nowadays. This film was just the tip of the iceberg. Just imagine how Mr. Smith would react if he went to Congress in 2010.

  • I LOVE THESE KINDS OF MOVIES

  • This is one of my top 5 movies of all time. The other 4 are Jimmy Stewart movies.

  • I cried at the end of this... this movie was soooooooooooooooooooo amazing... strangely they were talking about how the media was owned by the rich and the corporations during this film.. they succeeded in turning the public opinion against mr smith at the end but then the senator opposing him saw the wrong in what he was doing. We really need to remember the power of the media and take some of that power BACK!~!! Happy 4th of JULY! ps.. want to see a great senator now in reality? ron paul.

  • @CinemaZebra What's #1, just out of curiousity?

  • @monsterboy31 I'm not sure anymore. It used to be Ran, but the number one movie changes too often. Hell, it might even be this.
