Every time I try to use this Video Calling, lets say with someone on AIM or YAHOO it says "This person does not support video calling." so, I guess it only works on FRING-TO-FRING phones. Total bummer. I was hoping I would be able to talk to anyone on yahoo with video chat. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? please let me know! THANKS!

@fringland No the app works fine it's just that I have T-mobile's Samsung Vibrant(Galaxy S) and it doesn't have the front facing cam. Unless there's something hidden in the phone you know of that I don't.

I've been trying to do this for three days. I don't see how you make a buddie list for video, call a skype contact, etc. Tech support at fring has yet to return my email, forums and web articles don't explain the setup. neither does this lame video. Does anyone know how to make a (free) video conference call withthe evo 4g?

@jgoller All you have to do is to select the Skype contact and press the blue video call button. If you cannot see the button, that's probably because you are not connected to 3G or WiFI.

He man Just got the evo downloaded ur app. it only lets me dial number but wont activate camera. I noticed on yours that your three icons , chat phone and vid are highlighted. On my phone there is only cellular, Skype out and sip. Do I have to install another app?

@luvgodnow No, but you need to choose a fring/Skype contact. This will not work for regular phone contacts.
